My daughter turns 6 months old tomorrow. I can't even describe it, it seems like just yesterday we had her and all the scariness for the first two weeks of her life. She's so big now, and she's caught up really nicely! We're going to start a new baby food tomorrow, I'm trying to decide between Bananas or Pears.
When your babies were on baby food, what did you give them?

Aw! When my daughter was four months is when the doctor told me I could start on cereals and juice. Even some baby foods, but I held off on that until I was a little older, but the time will go by so fast!

I remember my daughter would eat any baby food. My son was a bit more picky and he still is at 5 years old. I can't even remember all the different baby food flavors, but I remember my kids both liking carrots and bananas. Good luck introducing the new baby food tomorrow! :)

Thank you, she really enjoys Applesauce but I don't think she's feeling the Banana's yet!

That is so exciting! It is amazing how fast time flies by. I have a two year old daughter and one on the way. My daughter loved pears. She liked bananas too, but definately ate up the pears faster. She did really well with baby food. Out of all of the fruits, the only one I couldn't get her to eat were the peaches for some reason. She didn't even like peach cobbler baby food, which I love even as an adult! Now that she's older, she eats real peaches with no problem. I think the baby food peaches were too tangy for her. Good luck!

my sons started with mashed banana with milk. i bought mashed fruits in a jar too like applesauce and mixed fruits. you can also feed her with rice cereals. babies are really growing so fast. my son is 20 months old now and i still remember the first time i saw him and that was really magical. i remember he was just small but now he is already running and saying too many words. your daughter will pass on several stages and all those firsts are the most memorable ones. enjoy your daughter while she is still young.

My daughter wouldn't eat the rice or oatmeal cereals. She loves Applesauce though, she doesn't seem to be to keen on the Bananas though, but I might see if she wants a little more tomorrow.

If it is her first food start on rice cereal. you can add some banana or applesauce in the mixture of cereal.
Those were always the 3 that I was told to start them out on.
Much success on the first feeding. Let us know if you wear more than her or she does LOL
Baby stages are so much fun to do and learn. Good Luck

Oh no, she's been on some for a little while, it's just tomorrow we can start a new one. She didn't take to the rice or oatmeal cereal at all, but she loves Apples, so we did that. Now we can try a new one, since we're sure she doesn't have an allergy to the Apples.
