Lately, I have been getting very creative in the kitchen. I've taught myself some fun short cuts in making some really neat treats. Yesterday, I found a way to make a quick candy treat and I also found a way to make hummus with out the expense of having to by tahini. Which if you know anything about Tahini, it is quite expensive. Tomorrow, who knows the pursuit for a brownie recipe? The sky is the limit... I can't wait to get cooking in the kitchen tomorrow to see what I can come up with.

When we love food, we seem to find ways of coming up with new and fast ways to prepare them. Sometimes a simple experiment results in an awesome dish. I myself get surprised when I toss a bunch of ingredients and voila, a sumptuous dish, and I sometimes don't know what I did

Lately as I've created these dishes, I have found new articles for my freelancing. So its been a huge help in many aspects right now. I have been writing for a long time and there have been times when it is difficult to find material. I'm really enjoying all the aspects of cooking and creating again.

Hi Chulce sounds like you are enjoying finding your way around the kitchen. I made some blueberry muffin bread Saturday. let my son take what was left from our breakfast when he went to work. He works about 12 hours a night so I thought the other security would enjoy some homemade food too. I don't have a big family, so I often cook and will take extra to a neighbor or one of my doctor offices. they are always appreciative and I get to cook whatever i want as I can share with others. have a wonderful day.

That's great that you share your dishes with others. We do that as well. We have a lot of elderly that live around us and I work for an organization where we have a lot of elderly, so I like to share what I make too. It really makes me feel good when I can put a little smile on their face.

So what are using instead of Tahini in your hummus? I do not find it too expensive here, because it seems to go a long way, but I am interested in knowing what you are doing in your hummus.

Actually sesame oil works just great to give the right flavoring. A friend of mine just adds sesame seeds into hers in the food processor and that works great as well.

I love quick and easy recipes. As long as the taste good and fit my taste bud, then I would definitely try them. I don't have to cook slowly and wait for this and that. That kind of cooking only reserved for Friday night which the only time I have a break.

It can be difficult to find time to cook. What a lot of people don't realize is the fact that there are little things that you can do to actually cook meals that do take more time and the meals practically cook themselves. I am not sure where you live if you have this item available. But, we have what are called crockpots. These pots are great, you can place large portions of meat into them along with vegetables, herbs and spices, let it cook all day long at a low temperature, when you return home, you have a great meal ready to go. Of course, this is best for a large family.

Yeah I like cooking easy and simple recipe too. But I'm not too creative. I always find for recipe in the internet. It's better for me to have the basic knowledge of the recipe first then I can improvise it with ingredients that I love. I usually find recipe in allrecipes.com or thefoodtemptation.co.cc

There are some great sites out there to use when you are hunting for recipes. It really helps if you aren't creative as you say. But, you are adding a touch of creativity when you throw in your own spices and such. :)
