Last friday, we had our exam in integral calculus. Topic is its applications like area under curve. I find the exam hard when we take it, i don't know why? I don't know how to answer them! I reviews all the coverage that must be in the exam but not all topics was there. Simple questions really but it is far from the examples or even assignments to us. I don't want to see my failing score on that exam. Actually, many admits they got nothing in the exam but hoping there guess answers would be correct.

Don't worry you are just on the situation of being a student. I have been there; I have done that. Teachers are really like hat; they would give exams not even related to past assignments or examples. But I know that they are just trying us; they are honing our skills and abilities for us to be improved students. Well, you should be lucky that your classmates have the same thoughts with you, that they find it hard. It would be not good if you were the only one who find the exam difficult. Good luck to your studies! Study hard!

I guess most of us went through the same thing. Sometimes when we feel that we really haven't done well in answering the exam questions, we really dread seeing the results. Well, like I always tell myself, I can't do anything about it anymore. I hope and pray that I pass but other than that, there's not much I can do. I try not to think about it too much since I don't want it to affect the other things I'm still doing. Besides, those other things that I do help keep my mind off of the results.

Good luck to you and your classmates on the results of your exam. I can relate to your problem, we also had an exam on calculus when I was still in college. All the questions are really far from the examples given by our professor. You really need to think how are you going to solve the problems. Good for some of us since we have already got the minimum requirement to excuse for the finals, we opted not to take the exam and leave the classroom after we saw the questions.
You must accept whatever the result of your exam. You cannot change it anymore since the exam has been finished. Just pray that your guess are correct inorder to pass.

Thank god I don't have to worry about exams as I have finished my studies already but I can certainly remember the time of our exams and how we felt then. Sometimes, I'd feel that I didn't do well on an exam but when the results come I'd get good marks and sometimes it was the other way round. So, don't worry, hoping you did good on the exam. Good luck with the result...

Hi there erjnsimon!
I can relate to this. Even though I did not take any integral calculus exam, we just finish taking our pre-board examinations. I was not very confident on some of my answers but I was really hoping that I will pass the exams. I have a lot of unsure answers especially in questions about Mathematics bu thankfully, I passed and I just hope that they would return our test papers so that I will know which questions I answered correctly and which ones did I answer wrong. It would be very useful in reviewing for the real thing.

guilty as well. especially when it is a math subject which I ma hopeless and most of the time, clueless. I will admit that sometimes I resort to guessing answers because few my failed attempt to recall on what to do and how to explain the process in any complex (in my opinion) math problems. It;s just like I leave to God the results but I was also wishfully thinking that I will pass. Ridiculous but I always do. There are times that I was lucky to have the right answers but I will always tell myself that i was lucky (whether beginner's or not) that at least pass or it's gonna haunt me one way or another.

Gosh, makes me remember my college years!hehe. I've been through with that, many times. I got to study every topic, bunch of them! But when the exam comes out, oh, everything stopped and what the heck is this?? It's a foreign thing, how am I supposed to answer all of these? Well, I got used to it and just expect nothing easy. You have to be positive even if you know you have doubts with your answer, just staying positive and confident will help you feel calm. Do not allow that idea of failing to enter your mind, just wait for the results and hope for the best. Just don't be anxious okay? That's just how it should be.:)

Do not be afraid to get your exams result, whether you have passed or not, you still need to know how you performed to be able to know the areas that you need to improve on. Try not to be so negative about your results. I wish you well and I hope you passed your exam.
