I am done watching the first season of Game of Thrones television series. Actually I have known about it because of our teacher. I love the episodes. Anyway, I am now inclined to read the book. Indeed the story is very interesting as I read it.
I just downloaded an ebook so I am reading it through my phone.
Do you guys read it too? Or you are reading other? Please share it to me. I would love to hear what you guys are reading.
Thank you and have a good day.

Im reading the second book right now on my phone. I finished the first one 2 weeks ago. The books are amazing. I didnt like the first season episodes but i love the second season. The books are better though, bcuz you get a detailed explanation of everything. The show is for intelligent people only you have to pay a lot of attention if you haven't read the book. but all in all its a great franchise and i cant wait to read more books from the fantasy genre (beyond tolkein)

We are the same my friend. I am also reading the second book in my phone. I am not yet done reading the first book. But I am trying my best to finish it. Books give a detailed view than the Game of Thrones in the HBO series. I love both in action and in words. Amazing book.

The book was way better than the show my friend. It's just that I am very thankful that HBO made the book an action or made it live. Even if there are changes, still the show did a very good job. What is Robert Jordan's book all about my friend? I am kind of interested about it. You might want to share it with me. Thanks.

yeah when i was reading the first book i thought this is amazing so much better than the show. but then i saw the second season show and was blown away by the acting, and there are some changes in the show. so its fun to see what they changed and what they didnt. the book gives you back story information but the show is like a dream come true. after this im going to read robert jordan's books ( the wheel of time)

I highly recommend the Game of Thrones: A Song of Fire and Ice Series. There's a lot of actions, drama, grit and power playing in the series. However, if you are a first time reader I don't think this is the best book for you. The books is told in so many different point of views and the storyline actually follows 3 plots.
You have to be a "well-season" book reader for you to fully appreciate the genius of George R.R. Martin.

I am sure you have read already that series. I feel so sorry for myself because I am not yet finish reading it. I miss a lot of scenes. Yes, you are definitely right. This series never fails to amaze me. Truly, the author of this is a genius. I hope he writes more exciting stories because I will surely read it even if it will take time.

The writer is already old. It took him years to finish the latest book in the series, Dance with Dragons. I hope he'll be able to finish the series before he... you know what I mean. :D

I didn't quite followed the series through. I'm a little impatient when it comes to long series that I only get to watch an episode per week. I'm not sure if they have it on DVD now but if they do, I probably might buy one. Not for myself though but for my wife. She's also a fan of this. I might read the book though. I just need to find some time to do it

I see. As for me, if I like the series I will really watch it. I am also impatient especially if it is boring. I don't know also if they have it on DVD. You can download it actually. So great to hear that your wife loves it. We are the same then. If you have time, read the book so that we are the same too.
