what do you think of stem cell transplantation

Hi,my lotters,
I am in trouble now ,my father get liver Cirrhosis,and we searched on the internet and it seems stem cell transplantation is more suitable for my father although the operation fee is very high for me ,I love my father very much and I can lose verything I have but my fatther,so we are ready to plan everything for the operation ,but I get some news this operation is not so popular and mature in China.
My dear friends,can you give me some news and sugguestions about it?Do you know something about Stem cell trasplantation?

I heard stem cell can be transplated to all of our vital organ because stem cell is baasic of all cell, if we transplanted it to eye it will be eye cells, if we transplanted it to hearth it will be hearth cells, etc..

But the doctor must make sure your father ready for the transplatation because not all people suitable with stem cell transplantation, I hope the transplantation success!

Hi dear Rastaman,thanks for ur help,after so long time of chinese medicine and take care,my father
already got much better now,and for the surgery,we do not do that,beacause we got some news from newspaper said all the cell translat surgery is cheating,until now china can not do this surgery successfully,what's more because of the poor healthy condition of my father,it means a great hurt .Any way,it is a great luky that we do not have a surgery for my father,and thanks for the almighty god for keeping my father well,and thanks u so much also for careness and help.

I don't know much about it but find it very fascinating. It really gives alot of people a second chance. Helps with alot of horrid diseases. Some cancer is irradicated by it I believe.

yes ,dear celticeagle,u are right ,but maybe in US,but in China this kind of surgery is cheating ,which we got from newspapers.any way,thanks for ur help dear ,and hope u are fine in US.

hi there is alot of information about stemcell transplantatin and cirrhosis in the site Mayoclinic.org. go read it and maybe it well
help you. if you could get your dad and bring him to the US adn MayoClinic in Rochester Minnesota I bet he would get the best care in the world. these people are fantastic here. good luck and God Bless.

You saved your dad his own stem cells or are they going to use some of someone else?
Is this something your dad wants? Did you discuss when to stop or when to admit that all people have to die one day?
These kind of operations can help but operations have risks too.
If it comes to this I can't give you any advice, I think you need a serious talk with your dad and perhaps an other doctor as well (second opinion) about the changes and the life experience of your dad after ... time.
