Sometimes the cellphone company will charge extra money for a certain color of the cellphone. For example, the black one is normal price, but the white one will be much more expensive. Will you still insist in buying the color you like or select another color in order to pay for the normal price?

They say that any color other than black is going to cost more which is very annoying but I must admit I am willing to pay for a color I want.

I wouldn't much care what color the cell phone is. This is like buying a car. Certain colors cost more. It is crazy. Paint must really be in demand. If a person is really into a certain color I guess they will pay anything to have it.

Youless, i always prefer to have a black color cellphone. It is because i don't like to see dirt. Besides that, i feel black color looks more professional as well. Maybe in future i will buy different color for a change. But of course it is depending on my budget.

For me, I have no color preference as long as I can used it for what I have paid for it. And also the features that goes with it. I guess to some it matters like the teenagers today, they look at it as a status symbol too when their phone are attractive to others. I won't pay additional charge just for the color, anyway I can change the phone housing if it pleases me with lesser price.

Yes, they would feel proud if their phone is different from others. That makes them unique.

A few years back I wanted to purchase a purple phone . It was from Sony Ericsson and this kind of phone only had that particular model in either black or purple. My mother just discouraged me from buying that particular phone because she said that it was too loud. I just settled for the black casing instead.
I don't know if cell phone companies do charge more if it's white or black. Every time I do check on the latest phones here in my country the price doesn't affect the color of the casing.

Personally I don't care what color my phone is. As long as it does the job and allows me to text and take calls that's all I need. Oh, perhaps to take a photo now and again.. A colour can look very nice if you like it, but if the phone is not too good, then you can sit an look at the color I guess. Not for me though! _Derek

It doesn't seem fair for the same quality and brand but different colors to be sold at a different price. If the price is just a little bit higher, I will still choose to buy the color I prefer, but if it is too much, I will not buy the more expensive one.

It all depends on the persons financial resources! If you have the money you would probably go for the color of your choice! But if yo don't then you can do with the cheapest one and decorate it with different "decorations" ,or get a colorful cover or case.

The color of my cell phone doesn't really matter to me. In truth, I prefer the simple black color over the other choices. I am more concerned about quality and function and so I would never pay extra for special colors.

lol as for me i am a cheap person lol and i usualy buy what i can afford and i will take the cheapest one no matter what the color that is ot what matter to me i dont look at color anyhow i look at the way the phone is made.. that is waht is important to me.. is it a flip phone or is it very simple to use.. that means alot.
to me the simpl ones is the ones i like as i hate a complicated phone now if i were gonna pay more it would be for a simple phone as that is most important to me.. not color.. as any color would be fine with me.. the simplier the better..

I don't think that the color of a cellphone should matter so much. After all, it is just a cell phone and not a fashion statement. I do think that the color should not raise the phone price. it just seems like a gimmick to get the company more money.

I think color matters in choosing anything. I am particular about what i use.For example, When i buy some clothes, i will wander several stores to look for what i will like, the style, the color and the quality of the cloth. The reason is that i think this stands for one's preference ,or rather., it's the symbol of someone. Some companies that charge extra money for something just think of it.They are very clever.

Well, it won't matter to me if I really have the money. The difference is not that big anyway. Cellphone companies knows very well their business and knows their market/customers as well. So, we cannot blame them for giving different prices just for a matter of color difference.
