Why most daughter's are close to their mother?

I am female,daughter,and close to my mother or my mom.And even since i was kid, i am on my mother side.
And few only are on my dad's side.And i am also in my dad side but not close not like to my mother i am close to her.
Can you share with me if you are also same close to your mother?And why you are close to her?

I dont know the reason why daughters are mostly closer to their moms than to their papas, but I suppose it has to do with our upbringing. You'll find that our moms are there to pick us up when we fall and take care of us all the time while our dads are busy trying to make ends meet and therefore they spend too much time away from their kids. I am very close to my mother though I would have loved to have a better relationship with my father....though I would always love my mom more.

I think it is because that,mother are always care the child since birth,and they are lore lovable,and until they grow up.
I love them all,and although not close to my parents so much,but i feel to close with them.

I am not close with either of my parents. I have found out how they really are and I don't like the people they are at all. When I was younger and didn't know any better I was closer to my father than my mother. My sister was always closer to my mother. Now I have no use for either of them. They have hurt me more than any parent should hurt their children. I will never hurt my babies like this...

Ok,my mother sometimes give us hurtful words,but we accept it and its our mother.And we love them both because although we are hurt by them,but they are more closer to us.

I can say that when my dad was still alive, I was more closer to him than my mom. Right now, I became closer to my mom even though I'm already married. The reason is perhaps my mom continues to communicate and visit me even though I'm far. She also regularly asks me how I am doing. For me, it's indeed important that she makes me feel like she really cares on what goes on with my life. I also love it when she continues to talk to me in a calm and understanding manner and she makes me feel comfortable approaching or calling her whenever I have problems. I really love my mom. For me, she's the best mom in the whole wide world.

Agree,even my mom is far in our place we live no,w my mo always checking here ,and hows going ,and asking etc..
I am having fun to talk to them,even it is long time ,not see each other,but i am happy with..

I am many brothers and sisters,we are scattered children's,but now we are okay,and seeing each other,because of God,He is been good to us,help us form,and love us much and also our parents

Yes.I am also close to my mother.I will share everything with my mother.She is like a best friend to me.I like my father very much but i am not that much closer to my dad since i can not express everything with him.Only few things i can discuss with my father.But with mother we can discuss anything.I think every girl will be closer to her mother only when compare to father.

Me also,although sometimes we talk something that we misunderstand,but i lvoe my mother and closed.
Sometimes,my dad also cam here but think not so close,d still little close to it we talk a lot.
