Do you think that being happy will lesser your stress?

You can't buy happiness,but you can change others life through your happiness or being joyful. You can turn their problems,aches through your smile at them,and they will think that wow , i am blessed to this person because of the great smile,and being good mind. Happiness,being joyful will melt your problems and will lesser your stress,worries,and etc.. Share your knowledge about how happiness helps others.

Absolutely! Being happy is the best thing we can do for ourselves. Depression is often linked to stress, I would imagine. I can't explain it but when we allow ourselves to be happy it's just like a huge burden is lifted off of us, mentally and physically. Happy MyLotting!

Really true.Happiness is the best way to live in these days because despite of the trials,we still to open mouth and smile. We will overcome the hard time if we just smile it and enjoy the day we have and blessings!

Yes of course happiness can help ease out stress though it might be hard but it is possible. With some of your simple joys getting done like having a massage, watching movies, spending time with family, helping others, those things can bring you joy and will help you out ease some worries in you.

Yep.There are many ways we can happy.To around with family,friends,and others funny movies and it helps you out in the stressful time and others. It is very great attitude if we are in happiness.

a pleasant day befrindwithme26, indeed, when i am happy, stress does not have any space for me. and because i am happy, i feel that i am capable of doing things in right way easily. thus, whenever i am happy, i am also sharing my blessings especially to those people who are close to my heart. wow, i cant wait to be happy again. as my world now a days is like a limbo.

Of course, happiness is very essential to each one of us and it sure does help reduce the stresses in your life. With just little things that make you happy like seeing birds chirping, the dog with that cute eyes, etc., it could take all your worries for a moment and feel tranquil. It will affect how your body respond to a very stressful situation because of those little things. Also you need to be happy even in times of bad moments, just be grateful of everything, eventually you will feel happy. Those problems that stressed you out would appear miniature, it's nothing compared to all the benefits you get for being human. That happy feeling is contagious, so be happy when you're around with people and you'll pass that happiness in them. That's just a wonderful thing to do. ;)

HI... Indeed it is...being happy is having a positive outlook in life, and yes it will lessen life's stress. I once heard a lecture that one thing causes cancer is stress, there are more possibility that person can have cancer if he/she is very stressful, lifestyle as well is one of the main cause. But as the quotations goes" Laughter is the best medicine" and yes for me it is. For if we often laugh, we really can feel better than just frowning in the corner, and thinking a lot of problems. We should laugh, smile for we never own all the problems.

I think happiness will help a person confront stress. They will see more situations as half glass full, rather than glass half empty. A person with a rough patch in their lives will see things in a pessimistic point of view, no matter how the the situation is. I find this to be the case from my perspective. I have dealt with being depressed before, though I never went to a doctor to seek help about it. I find that when things are lining up in a good way, that I am happy. Happy enough to not let bad things shake me down. But the times when I am down, it feels as if the weight of the world is on top of me. I have been fighting through a rough patch for almost a year, and while things have stabilized, they are not getting better. At the current moment, I am working on improving my situation to make things better than they are now.

Starting a day with a smile could encourage other people to smile and start the day right too.Being happy could give positive outlook in life in spite of all the stress that we experience everyday.Overcoming stress through happiness could help a lot for us to be more positive and enjoy life. No matter how stress our day is,let us always end a day with a smile and positive life for us to face the next day happy.

Yes.Being happy will always keeps us healthy and stress free.But everyone can not be happy all the time.Somewhere or other they will have some problems.But at that time we should control our emotions and sorrows and we have to run a life with a smile.then only sorrows will not effect you much.
