Hi guys! Do you ever wonder where human beings came from? Well, to some scientist, we came from apes and just evolved into what we are now. Personally, I do not believe this theory because first of all, the bible says that he made us when he created the earth. Second, if we evolved from apes then monkeys should not be present in this time, they should be extinct. What about you? What do you believe in?

No, we didn't evolve from Apes, but rather, Humans and Apes have a common ancestor, from around 15 million years ago, which is now extinct. An even closer relative, is the common ancestor we have with chimpanzees, that happened about 5 million years ago, and that common ancestor, is also extinct.
But then, go back even further, and we also share a common ancestor with rats, which most mammals share, but its basic, and looked most like a rat, from around 125 million years ago... and we all had a common ancestor with reptiles from 256 million years ago, and we all share a common ancestor with fish, about 375 million years ago, where there was the very first fish, that could use legs to come out of the water.
Of course, none of those common ancestors are alive, today. With all the changes that happen, and how the young constantly beat out the old, animals go extinct, and new animals come forward.

jyuuken while it is plain to see that you have strong opinions on the subject of evolutionary science you continue to avoid answering the simple question. What is the theory of evolution? State it in words we can understand and explain why it is wrong.

I know what Darwin postulated but I don't think you do. You can prove me wrong by giving us a simple, concise statement of what the theory of evolution is. If you can not to that then your opinions about it are worthless.

Since you know what Darwin stated it should not be difficult to provide a short version of it. What is his theory as you understand it?

I do believe we share a common ancestor with other primates.
why should our existance negate the existance of all other primates? that's like saying that you existing means your cousins shouldn't exist.
why are people so threatened by the simple fact that we are a species of animal? that doesn't make us any lesser than we are. animals are incredible.

well of course we're a species of animal.
we are not vegetable or mineral, are we?
we are classified as primates. and as mammals. and as vertebrates.
yes, we are different to a gorilla, but a gorilla is also different to a dog and a dog different to a cat.
as a spiritual person, I can see that we are not the only living thing to have a soul, so that argument is out too.
we are animals. different to other animals, yes, but every kind of animal is different to each other.
not only do we come from animals, we are animals still. and there is nothing wrong or hateful or shameful in that.

If you allow I'd like to give my opinion. We are human beings but we are like animals, plants and minerals. Our body has components as the minerals. Like plants we can grow up and reproduce. And like the animals we have senses and get impressions of the world around us. Besides the human being has an organ which is the condition for a high knowledge: the brain. And in the men the brain is highest developed than in other beings. The brain is the tool of thinking. We have the word, the language and each of us is an " I ". In the " I " is the spirit alive.

There is no one specific source in human evolution theory, human species could have evolved from monkey, pig, gorilla, cave man; ape or created by God from dust. Since not all of human species are the same, it all depend on where you are originated and which corner of the world /universe you are from. It is a complicated issue and need time to sort it all out.

Evolutionist did find some similarity in certain features between women/men and pig, and their DNA make up. (joke) It look like the reverse is more likely the scenario, where pig is evolved from humanity after many generation of adaptation in human species toward their environment where abundant of food are available.

I strongly believe that God created the human life.Genesis chapter1, 2.I believe that God is the source of everything, because of Him everything was found and until now.
We are not came from anything, but we are made from dust,And God form that a living man/woman and have life.

Hi,how are you..Yes we are surely, proven that God created us in His own image, and we are not from any animals from because God is the source or the beginning of all things..

There is scientific evidence that Creation is reality but no evidence whatsoever that evolution can happen. I was created in the image of God, not King Kong.

Where is the supposed scientific evidence that any one of the thousands of creation myths that exist on this planet are true?

If they are not myths it points to thousands of creations rather than just one but we must come back to your original statement where you pointed out that there was scientific evidence for a creation. Which of the thousands of creations do we have scientific evidence to support and what is that evidence?

To me, that is not an easy question to answer. And it doesn't really matter that much. The universe has no beginning and no end. Otherwise there would a limit to the population that would appear on earth, but that is not the case. Not all living things are the same, and if we did evolve from apes, as we are still growing, we are still evolving, so we are going to need more apes, or we wouldn't grow any more in numbers. In fact the reverse could happen. We could get fewer and fewer humans on the planet.
To me, there is only now. Where I am right now. Does it help me or hinder me to know whether or not I evolved from the apes. To me, is seems like a mind game.. We may have, or we may not have.. _Derek

I think we were meant to be humans and as such we have evolved! apes are apes and as such they do evolved! I never saw a half ape and half human no any other species that are half and half...each species...including humans...have evolved as it's own...in other way what we were meant to be from the beginning.

Well, I think that the theory of evolution sounds right in my ears. I say "hi" to granma Lucy, the ape with a human DNA. But I do not think that the Bible should be taken literally. It is easier to believe in what it says if we think of it as a metaphor (or a parable).

from the study conducted by scientist and researcher. apes and human have the same bone formation in the skull and other bones so they form there theory from it. though, human are classify as the greatest animals belonging to those in the hierarchy level of intelligence and homosapiens with erect position as compare to animals who have problem with balance and have language difficulty. human have animal instinct and those evolution may have influences as the creature adapt to its environment and so is the face and manners changes over time.

i do not think so, maybe but it remain a theory. though, old skulls have been dated by carbon through their fossils and other remain as they look like a large monkey. so the researcher think they are the first ancestors of human with the skull like and body formation like the man. so in a joke their a lot of debate, so just a short cut, t say just look i the mirror if you have resemblance to a monkey then probably you originate from it though f not, you are definitely human.

I believe in it and have no problem with it.
It may be another matter from the point of view of the apes, though. They may not like it. Seeing how people treat one another over the millennia and even up to now, the apes and monkeys may get angry about us being descended from them and may dis-own us as their descendants. As they see how we make war on one another, sometimes for manufactured pretexts, they must be breathing sighs of relief and repeatedly saying, "Thank God I'm not human," or "Thank God I never came down from the trees." Hahaha...

nope.. because i believe God created the world as well as the human race... but it really depends on how an individual views it.. good day! :)

The short answer is; "No, I do not believe that humans evolved from apes." Modern apes and anatomically modern humans share a common ancestor. The human species split from the apes about seven million years ago and we and the apes have followed different evolutionary tracks since then.

Absolutely not! Apes evolved from Humans. To understand this just go to the zoo and stand by the monkey cage. Watch the antics of the monkeys and soon you will see your neighbor playing with himself, and your uncle chasing your best friend round and round the cage!

When I was a little child and my mind is still in the process of accumulating knowledge, I wondered where did we came from and how are become humans. As I grow up and little by little understand things, my mind becomes interested in knowing the mystery of life. When I read the bible, it made sense. All the things happening around us are interconnected from the day that the first creation was created to the day that God rested. All has been in perfect harmony with nature. I don't believe in the evolution or big bang theory. It is just merely a theory which has no actual basis except for the reasoning of those who believe.
