Purpose of using Facebook

Facebook is mainly created as a socialize website so that everyone of us will be able to connect with friends and family. However, it's appearing had been split out to various purposes depend on different users. What is the purposes you're using Facebook?

I have a facebook account which i seldom use. I just view at it sometimes to see if their are new activities of my friends. One thing that i realized how useful facebook is when my half sister added me as a friend (I just met my half sister last Dec 2008 coz i really dont know that she exists). From then on, i use facebook to check with her and my biological mom's activities since i never met my mom (not even once.)

Wait...I'm getting confuse now...Biological mom means the one that give you birth? Means your mom has another daughter but both of you having different father? Am I right?

hello! Half sister - she's a daughter of my biological mom but not a daughter of my biological father. :-)

Yeah, this is the most basic and important thing that Facebook provided. Sometimes I will also accidentally met with friends that lost contact for years; so this is really a advantage of having Facebook.

Wow, makes money with likes Facebook page? Do you mean like in our myLot tasks there as accept the task by liking the pages? I do not have interested in that. By the way, how much you can earn by liking the Facebook pages?

I use facebook to:
Interact with friends- alot of my friends have migrated and thanks to facebook, it allows me to keep in contact with them, we are able to share photos and stories about what's going on with each other.
Play games- Well I use to play games alot on facebook, but I've found it to be quite time consuming, so I don't anymore. But facebook has alot of cool games, but it can take up alot of your time if you let it, and so i had to cut back on that.
Read articles-Yes. Sometimes friends share news and views that you wouldn't otherwise see.
Work- If communication isn't possible between my co workers and myself via phones etc we sometimes inform each other of work related activities via the private messages format in facebook.
and yes I use facebook to share jokes, and pics,music or to simply just air my views.

I can see that the most important thing for you to do with Facebook is connecting with friends been apart. So, you had spent less time on the games as it consumes too much time; I can understood this very well as my sisters are spending all time playing these games which I did felt quite wasted.
I do like to read articles too! By reading them, I gained much more knowledge and things or stories that I never heard before. And from there, I can shared with my friends. This is the thing I like Facebook a lot!
There's always a gap between people and people; so do I. It's a kind of good thing too if can start with messages. Later maybe can be more closer in future.
