It isn't just a social site it is a site that people go on it and post about someone having an STD! There is a woman on there with her 9 year old son that says they have HIV! And the truth is they don't have this disease! The guy says he will take it down for a thousand dollars. What the heck is he thinking? She found out by goggling her last name and the state where she lives. Have you goggled your name? I would avise it if you haven't!

If it is a social site, the site should pull down the posting. If she knows the person who made the posting, she she be able to sue him for damages and have him arrested for extortion.

I don't know what kind of site it is just heard that she goggled her last name and the town she lives in and came up with this site that said she had HIV and her nine year old son had it to. At the end of the show the guy that owns the web site said he would take it down. There was a lawyer on the show that got people looking at his site. She don't know who it was but there was someone else on the show and she did know who put it up there about her and she told the person if they didn't take it down she would sue. It was taken down about the second lady from the person that posted it. The lawyer told the man that if he didn't take it down she would sue him for extortion!

If they had to, they could probably trace the poster through his IP address.

Since there is no law in preventing him from doing this(as far as I know anyway)there is no point in me looking up my name to see if the same thing is being said about me. My family & close friends know me, so they know whats true & not true. That's all that matters to me. Giving any attention to this jerk online is exactly what he wants, so I say deny him that & he will go away before you know it.

Hi Onevoicemia and welcome to my lot. As far as this bad attention going away it still hurts and I think that these kinds of people should be put away. This guy is a jerk I agree! There are laws that can force him to stop this! There was a lawyer on there and she has got the law looking into this site.
