Dravid is the best middle order batsman that India had, he is technically mr. perfect, but in recent cricket, he felt that he is not performing well and retired. Surely its a big loss for Indian cricket.Hope that the young Indian talents will play well and will not make us feel the missing of Dravid.

Yes of Course vimal1990 !
Rahul Dravid is one of the legends of cricket. He's better than sachin tendulkar, because he's most of the innings comes in favour of India wins rather than sachin most centuries are gone in vain. He's whole cricket career was clean atmosphere. He's was truly engaged in discipline. He have given a lesson to upcoming generation.

With Dravid now out of the Indian international and first-class circuit, it seems as if there is now a gulf within the team itself, as it tries to fill the void left behind. There will never be a true like-for-like replacement but what is promising is that there is an abundance of talent in the fray. It's a shame that Gary Kirsten (current South African coach) left the team perhaps when they needed him most. One can only hope that someone, somewhere is willing to stick up his hand and take responsibility...whoever does that will be on their way to greatness

Cheers for Dravid ! He's brave enough to step aside for new generation to take over.. but sad that other's are not ..
Its funny to see the role of media in our lives and what all happens around in cricket. Few days back we were literally cursing these seniors for being stubborn but now that Rahul has announced his retirement, every news channel is busy displaying a presentation of his marvelous career.

Hi vimal
With Dravids retirement, I have no nothing much left to my interest in Indian Cricket. I love his style of play and yes, I am an old fashioed guy who still adores Gavaskar (Sunil) and Dravid. I will always miss Dravid with the Bat on the field.
