My dog Gizmo always licks my hand and cheek in the morning when I wake up and I think It's a sweet way to start my day. He is such a sensitive dog because whenever I or my husband are upset or not feeling well, he stays close by and seems concerned. Animals are very loyal and a great comfort sometimes. I am trying to get out more and walk with my dog. Gizmo loves to go for walks and we found an empty field where I can take him off the leash and he can run around free for a few minutes. I worry about not only me getting exercise but him also. I am going out now with him and will make it a daily habit for our good health. Do you have a dog that you love to go for walks with? Share your pet stories, My Lot, friends!

We have the same type of dog who loves to give lots of kisses, usually gets us on the nose for some reason. Oh she's so loveable she is just like having a furry baby she lays in our arms like a baby would, gives us kisses, even gives us high 5 when we have her treat in our hands. She gives hugs she'll put her paws on both shoulders and nudge her head under your chin.
She loves going out for walks, we usually take her to the local dog park to keep her socialized with other dogs. A friend of mine has a golden-doodle who just loves to play with Gazou.
Gazou is a snuggler she cozies into us when we sleep and sitting watching television.
I wouldn't trade her for the world, she is very big part of our family.

Thank you for the best response!
Yes and she looks alike like yours too. I love her she's a very large part of our family, I look forward to her greeting me at the door when I arrive home everyday. She's always full of love and quite the charmer. She's very protective of me as well if she's not sitting on me she's at my feet making sure no one gets near enough to touch. Sometimes my husband and I will hug and kiss and she's right there jumping and barking until we pick her up to get in on the hugs and kisses too.
She's an amazing dog I wouldn't give her up for anything.

well as you describe your dog it is very loyal to you, but some people dont want dogs because it can bite with a rabies. but then i think as long as we trained our dogs our dog will be better and behave dog to us.

If you are responsible and get your pet the required rabies shots, you never have to worry about that. Having a pet is a comfort and a joy. I can't imagine my life without my "babies"!

Having a pet is a good way of keeping yourself from stress too.Like what you have shared with us you and gizmo bonded by having a walk with gizmo and it's a good way of de-stressing yourself too.Dogs are the most loyal pets you can have. They have this sense of feelings too like us humans. They will never leave yourside if they feel you are in danger.I have pets too and I know how cute and lovely they are they will care for you if you care for them too.So love your pets make them feel the love you have for them but never spoil them. :)

I like your dog's name. I'll write it down to remember it when I will have my first dog.
Now I don't own a dog but my partner does. She has an Airedale girl that also likes to give lots and lots of kisses. We all go hiking together and we all enjoy the time spent together in the woods.

We have a 6th month old Basset hound, and she is a handful. I bleed easily and she is always getting me with her teeth or her paws and I end up bleeding and you should see me… I’m like a commercial for band aids. I can’t walk her because she would pull me off my feet. My daughter can barely handle her sometimes… she is funny though.. she talks back to us.. and she goes through all kinds of antics. Her daddy takes her for long walks around the neighborhood. We can’t let the dog off the leash here.

My husband and I have two dogs. Our male is a black lab and just over a year old. Our female is a Staffordshire Terrier and a year and a half. They are both so spoiled. They too love giving kisses and if you make kissy noises at them they will give you a kiss. They get plenty of exercise running around our backyard but we do occaisionally take them for walks.
