Do you like playing Poker?

Do you like playing Poker? Who taught you to play? Do you play online or in real-life games? Do you/Would you play for real money? If someone sponsored you a place in a Championship Poker Tournament, how well do you think you'd do? I love Poker. Before I began playing Poker, dominoes was my favorite game. Me and a food friend of mine would play almost every single night against each other online. I am good and he's gotten pretty dang good himself. Sometimes we'd also play in person. All that's changed since I started playing Poker. I taught myself to play. I'd wanted to learn for a long time. One day I decided to download a Poker game onto my Blackberry and see if I could learn just by playing. And lo and behold, I did. It didn't take long at all to get the basics down-packed. But to understand how to really play took a good bit of practice. Honestly, within 2 days I felt comfortable and somewhat competent at the game, which I played like mad once I first started. Still I had to take time and patience to develop true skill. It hooked me right away and now my dominoes playing buddy has been left to play other opponents online since Poker has won my heart. I don't have time to play like I used to. Bummer! But I still play as often as I can. I don't have family or friends who know how to play the game so I've never played a real life game. I play via my phone against live opponents in real-time, which is the same thing for the most part. I never play for real money and doubt I ever would. But if someone gave me a spot in a real tournament where I could win real cash I'd take it in a heart beat. And I can say with all honesty I really believe I could win the whole tournament because I can play the game. It's more than skill, it's also intuition and the willingness to take risks that makes for a good Poker player and I feel I have those things pretty much in my favor. How about you?
