Over the course of this last week I have been in and out of hospitals with one of my kids? We were transported by ambulance and spent the day in the Emergency Room.
I feel like I am getting sick, chills, aches, head congestion, ear pain, all the signs of a flu like bug?
Is there an incubation period for germs?
Can this be effects for spending 3 days between 2 hospitals?
I hate being sick....

Oh yes...especially in hospitals or doctor's offices. There are rooms here that separate the sick from the well patients but that doesn't keep the sick patients from catching something another patient has. I think incubation can be up to weeks with some stuff. There was a warning on the news that we shouldn't go to the hospitals or doctors offices unless absolutely necessary during the flu season.
I hope you get to feeling better.

I really didn't have a choice on the hospital if I did you better believe it I wouldn't have gone anywhere near there.
I have been dosing up on medications to try and be comfortable while it runs it's course hopefully I am close to the end now.

I even get the flu shots every year but so far it's not to bad just feel the fever and chills and the head cold. I agree it hasn't been a great year so far with people getting sick.

hi,
germs is everywhere, and we can not see them, even for me its really hard to stay inside of the hospitals because we all know that there are many germs or even viruses there, but the only thing we can do is we need to wash our hands and make our immune system strong.

No there is not an incubation time for germs ,viruses is something different. But it all also depends on your own immune system. So take enough rest, eat healty, don't sleep in a heated bedroom and don't put the heath high (people who live in very warm houses have the flue easier as those who don't).

Thank you, I always thought any bugs that were airborne were just carried for about 5-7 days before it actually comes out with a cold.
I have been doing allot of sleeping, I leave the patio door open in the room when I sleep my husband locks it when he comes to bed. Our house maintains it's temperature from the stove in the basement - upper floors are comfortable the basement is roasting!

Thank you! I hate feeling unwell but it happens I made the choice to stay with my child in the hospital I took that chance of catching something. And they say hospitals are sanitized....
