lipitor is a drug used to lower cholestrol in the body, my father was on it for nearly a year, eventually he needed a double bypass, after he got this he contracted MRSA and was subsequentally administered an iv antibiotic, then suddenly he was not able to walk due to muscle weakness, and his condition just worsened until he was near death, apparently the lipitor reacted with the antibiotic, the doctors told him that this only happens in 1/1,000,000 cases has anyone else heard of this complaint? all of this happened within 3 months and i nearly lost my father, thankfully now he is on the mend.
