My earning just increased after leaving my laptop for a while...That's weird

Okay...I know that our earnings can decrease because of a certain topic or discussion that we have participated on was deleted.
I also know that our earnings can increase because
1. it's the time of day for us to earn from our participation the other day;
2. of using the search bar and get a reward from it;
3. we are paid for a task we did...I think.
Am I missing something?

The earnings from deleted posts are re-distributed among active Lotters and when you see an increase when it is not the normal update time, that is the reason.

wow! i have forgotten about this too. :D but i had a refresher, thanks to mysdianait. I guess whatever they lost, is our gain and even if its 2 cents, i think that sure is a hard day's work. and i love mylot's spirit of reward and fairness. Bless you sinfulrose.

oh i think i have the same. i noticed that i had additional two cents in my account and well there must be some clean up or something that needs to be credited to our account. i just know that it is not definite amount earned displayed until we are paid with the same. so it would really vary from time to time depending on the system computation

Wow that's great news. It is an added excitement when you see your earnings increase all of a sudden. I guess the others were right, you get earnings from some of the deleted discussions you participated in as well as referrals. I just got an increase a couple of hours ago because of the tasks. I was actually surprised because it has been almost a month since I did those tasks and I just got credited now.

The 0.44 was your earnings for your particpation up until midnight by the clock at the bottom of the page. Earnings for everything posted after that time, until the next midnight, will appear in the update in 24 hours.

Whoops. Yes, you're right mysdianait. It really does seem like it's my earning from yesterday...but the MyLot time at the bottom of my page appears to be 9:34...is that midnight in some areas? Maybe it really is...

Oh, that's not weird at all. The tasks are administered by MyLot users as well so if they've just logged in and just saw your contribution, they will pay you at the time when they've seen your task and judge it as completed.
Right now, I've got another raise. This time, it's bigger...I got $0.44.
MyLot is really doing a clean-up right now? Because if so, I'm so darn happy about it and hope it would not go down. lol

Well, perhaps the only thing that you have not mentioned in your discussion, is the speech of your referrals (assuming you have them).
The 3 points on which explanation you gave, are ok. Now it feels strange that your profit here on Mylot, rise, although comes less your participation. The only rational explanation I can give this strange case, could no doubt relate to the referrals. So having said that I ask you:
You have some referrals?
If your answer is YES, did you see what you have gained through them despite your lack of participation to the site?

Alberello, I suggest going through any discussion here in Mylot to see further down if it has been cleared up rather than just posting the same thing all over.
Going through the whole discussion would have even provided you some other knowledge of how Mylot operates, like their time different to yours and their every 24hours action crediting routine.

It was explained there the reason why my earning increased while I was taking down clothes and hanging more at the back of our house.

sometimes i also dont know how they going to pay. sometimes without doing anything, the earning will increase, i didn't use search engine, didn't complete task, i also don't know where the money comes from ^^

Dorothy, if your had read previous responses you would have learnt a lot besides the fact that Mylot wouldn't unnecessarily increase your earnings if you have done anything to earn it.

Ha ha ha now I'm confused that's why sometimes I don't mind looking at my earnings if it is decreasing or increasing. I'm just focused and enjoying responding to those discussion that I can relate. I admit, before I'm too concern on my earning updating it all the time. I so mylot changing rates from up to down and down to up I think it depends on the activity and how much time were here.

Mylot would never credit or pay you for any other action besides the one you have worked for, so with regards to people still posting in the discussion and talking about the same thing all over again, i must say that it killing to continue to answer the same questions all again and again, Mysdainait is such a wonderful person who would continue to clear things up for people who post same response to this discussion without even taking time to read the discussion through and it's still in it's first page.
With reference to her, she has said it and i too know so, that Mylot would never pay you for nothing.

hi there,
i was just reading your discussion and the people's responses. i couldn't add some more because i really didn't have any idea about this. but i know when discussions we have responded to gets deleted, our earnings get deducted too and i am sad about that. i am glad i went over your discussion. at least i learned something so thank you
