PROMISE..this word is made by a person to someone..usually to insure someone for his/her words.. but how often do you use that word?and do you really mean the word PROMISE every time this comes out from your mouth? me, i only use that word when i mean what i said..it's also my partner's and my sister's way to know if i'm lying or not..if utter those word, it means i don't like and i mean it..i don't even use it in my white lies..how about you?

promises are meant to be broken that is why when saying i do's in wedding ceremony it should be covenant of love and not promise of love. people often use this promise word too often and end up not doing it anyway. but reading on its definition it is like i promise, i swear, i assure you, i pledge but it is not really sure.

I hate promises. Well not really hate but i just don't like it when people promise me something. When they do, i expect a lot and get disappointed big time. So it's like a traumatic experience for me. So i don't like to hear that. I rarely make promises because i know how it feels when people get disappointed. It's not that i don't intend to keep that promise but sometimes inevitable circumstance would prevent me from doing what i promised.

I try not to say i promise unless i really mean it. I promise is used so lightly and in so many situations. we use i promise when we want someone to believe in what we say. When i promise is just a popular phrase it loses all of its meaning. When we use i promise in this way nobody will believe us when it is the truth.

Promise for me is such a strong word. It could hurt somebody's feeling if I wasn't able to keep that promise. I make sure I make all those promises come true. When I promise, I really mean it.

I don't use that word often at all... And when I do Promise something you best belive im going to come through on my promise... You can't just go around using the word PROMISE because there are times when things come up and that promise you made does not always happen...

Its actually me and my partner's way [before] of knowing or making sure that were not lying. Its like when we say that word..we mean the 100% truth of it. But now, we don't use it anymore...cause like rules, promises are meant to be broken.

The word "promise" is a word that has lost a lot of meaning to say the very least. There are times where people will swear up and down that they are going to promise something. However their words are going to absolutely ring hallow and they are not going to really be something that is going to stick. Of course it is rather hard to really remember a time where promising something meant much of anything, as history is littered with broken promises. There are just going to be many times where people are just going to make each and every kind of promise right in the world but they are not going to back it up. It is just really best not to make a promise unless you are absolutely sure without a shadow of a doubt that you are going to follow up on it. Of course, many people do have those doubts right in their mind and there are going to be times where it is going to be extremely shallow when people make promises.

Never make a promise that you could not uphold, unless you believe, as above, promises are made to be broken. To make a promise is sort of reassurance of committing something that you would really be willing and able to do, and that's why i always try to avoid making promises, lol!

I never make promises anymore. I can't stand people who don't keep theirs and always I keep mine no matter under what circumstances. This all cost me a lot of my energy and health so I decided not to promise anything anymore. It's better to do something if you are able too or in the mood as making empty promises or break down yourself.

Promise for human says will not break, but yes it fails. Promises must be on the partner, friendship, and other promises that is not need to be break. But that is not always be,because of some promise does break.
