I usually perform much better in examinations than competitions. Some of the results for the examinations might even be much higher than my expectation. However, I seldom win the competitions. I am not sure about why. Maybe because I am too nervous during the competitions or I am simply not good enough to win the competitions though good enough to get high marks in examinations. This makes me feel frustrated sometimes as I know I have quite a high ability but not high enough to beat every one who have entered the competitions. Would you mind sharing your feeling and experience with me?

hi,
when i was in high school i noticed that i am more on examinations rather than competitions, because i know to my self that i am more effective in examinations. and sometimes competitions usually use their physical body like the CAT competitions.

Well, i was amazed of how good you are in examinations. I for one am not actually good at examinations since i change the questions (hehehe) and my teachers get angry at me. And during competitions, i also lose, that is because i am a troublemaker. I for one am not fond of becoming good at examinations whether i be first or last. Remember though that it does not matter if you perfected every quiz in your classes and your grade is 99. They are just numbers. Anyway, it is better to be a student that is learned that a student that is educated but not learned. Don't also feel discouraged about why you lose at competitions, just remember also that there are many people out there that wants to be good at examinations but they can't. Why don't you focus in your examination skills, then, research or problem solve your problem in competitions. I guarantee that it will work wonders for you. It's just a matter of perspective.
