When you look at your self in the mirror, have you ever ask your self who is in front of you? Is it your mother face or your father? To whom are you look a like, did you got your mother's nose, or did you got your father's eyes? Sometimes we just knew that when people recognize us specially on the first time they saw us. How about you how did you recognize your self in the mirror, is true what other people say that you look like your mom or you look like your dad? Please share... thanks.

Yeah. That's kind of funny, cause some people think I look just like my mom and others think I look just like my dad. I can look at myself somedays and see my mom and I think everything about me is her and then other days, it is the other way around and I see my dad's eyes, nose and lips and expressions. Same with my grandson. He looks just like my daughter sometimes and just like my son 'n law others. It's kind of strange how it works, isn't it?

I am a mixed of both. There are angles that I look like my father and some angles that I resembles a lot of my mom. But one thing is so distinct, me and my sister looks so similar that people can easily tell that we're sisters.

What other people say is true that I look like my mother or that I look like my father. Facing me at the mirror is the reflection of my parents, how they molded me who am I right now and how their love to each other has made me. Without them, I don"t exist in this world.

My sisters and I never thought we looked like one another until one day we were all standing in front of a mirror together....I don't really have to ask who I am....I am my mother! When I see relatives I haven't seen for a while they always say....You have to be Lois's daughter! LOL

I have been told I look alot like my mom. When I was younger, I heard that I got my mom in a little trouble when I would be out and about. People would see me, think it was her, and mention it to her husband I wasn't doing anything crazy but I guess she wasn't supposed to be where ever I was when someone thought they recognized me.

Yes I do that. I am fair and my hair is light coloured. My dad though had dark hair and so every so often I find a pitch black hair and ask where it came from. Not only that but I find sometimes I think I act like my parents and this sometimes is amazing or frightening depending on the acts.

Hi lynboobsy11,
My sisters tell me I am more on our Dad's side than our Mum's but I have features from both, obviously! I have a 'hollow' in my cheeks from my Mum and fair, sparse eyebrows. My eye colour is similar to my Mum's (both a shade of green/brown). I'm short like my Mum too.

My husband says that I have my mom's face and I think that I look more like my dad but other people tell me that I look more like my mom. My mom says that I look like my aunt Vera who is older than my mom. I don't think I look like her at all. Anyway, we all look like someone in our family , that's how we know we are part of that family, I suppose.

I'm a Mommy's girl so I've always thought that I look a lot like my mom. But my mom and my dad have so much in common as to the features of their faces so it is hard to tell whom I get my facial features. But as i have said I go for my mom, she is just so lovely and I am too. :)
But what I'm surely confuses to is that whenever I look in the mirror I have this i identity crisis cause most of the time I see my twin sister in it. Yes I have a twin and we were identical when we were born. As years passed I got a little bit fat and she remained so thin, that was why I thought we no longer look alike. But then whenever I look at the mirror there is still those moments that shocks me, Am I really me, or is my twin staring at me... and then boom, i look intently and there I was standing in front of the mirror once again... LOL! *weird*

When I look at the mirror, I am shocked because I'm looking at my worst enemy. Oh well, not really but it's true. I think I resembled more my father's features like my ears and the shape of my face. I'm not too sure because nobody told me yet that I look like my father or like my mother. It may be a mixture of both features. Anyhow, I am just thankful to God for He is good. He formed me in my mother's womb, allowed me to be born in this world with my parent's combined features. Then He was with me from those growing up years. He will be with me today and tomorrow, until the day that I'll be no more. I think you look like your mother. That's just a guess.

I look like my half sister, especially when I am tired. She is older than me, and does not take good care of herself. Most of my life I have thought I looked a lot like my younger brother and sister. Usually echoing my mom's side of the family. On the other hand, I looked in the mirror the other night, and saw someone who looked like my dad's mother, at least in the bone structure of her face. I think I get some of both. I think when people see you they look expecting to see the people they know that are your relatives.

My mood is usually a deciding factor in hiw i will see myself in the mirror. If I am feeling blue or depressed, i don't see the real me looking back at me. If I am in a hppier mood, I see a bright and shing person with a wonderful future looking back at me. I have never really thought about seeing my parents in the face that looks back. There is a lot to take on when that relection of you stands before you in the mirror.

I thin I look like both of them in different ways. I have the features of them in many different ways, thankfully I don't have my dad's ears. They are quite big, haha. I do have his demeanor which is more calm and easy going than my mom's. She can act really worrisome and even combative at times in a verbal way.

I don't think I look like my mother or my father. Even when my friends come to my house they said that I don't look like my parents. It's the same with my teacher. I have 2 older sisters and one of them went to the same school as me. And my teacher didn't recognize me as my sister's sister because I don't look like her.
