I saw this movie, staring Charlize Theron, Patrick Wilson, and Patton Oswalt, last night, after a friend telling me that the movie was just... weird. That was her exact description of it, that it was just... weird. Well, I have a thing for weird movies, with stories that you just don't seem to get in other places, and I had to watch it. I thought it was a great drama, about a woman who writes as a ghost writer for a stream of vampire teen fiction books, who goes back to her little hometown while going through depression from her recent divorce. Theron did a great job, as the big star who escaped the little city, and I'm more used to seeing Oswalt as a stand up comedian, where he was doing a more dramatic role, that he fit perfectly into. I liked the story for it, and good dialog all along. It was weird... and I think I liked it, because I related to it more. I'm also from a little city, and moved up to the big city, so now when I visit my hometown, people are more amazed at the kinds of things that I do for work, and how I'm living life. Maybe you need to feel that way to really understand the movie. If you've seen it, and want to comment what you thought about it, I'd love to read it. Thanks!

Maybe, it is entitled “Young Adult” because Mavis is still single while her high school boyfriend is now married and already has a child. But she’s still in love with him. Being so obsessed with Buddy. Buddy who is taken and committed with Beth. If I were Mavis I will find someone and shower him with all my love.
