More money or more friends?

Would you rather have more money but less friends or more friends but less money? I am asking about real friends okay? I am not asking about friends in your Facebook account, Mylot account, or friends in other social networking sites.
If you will ask me the same question, I will choose more money but less friends. Don't get me wrong, I used to have lots of friends but as I grow old I realized that I have to earn more than socialize more. I have to save for the future and pay the bills in the present.
Would you rather reply to discussions here in Mylot, answer surveys to get paid. write blogs to get paid than hang out with friends doing nothing productive?
Money is the root of all evil you might say? That is a cliche and it does not work in a third world country like ours.
Money is the root of a good future. I will wait your responses.
By the way, I still have friends left, very very few but very very real friends.

Honestly, same as yours, more money. A good future means having more money to spend on food, shelter, education, the basic necessities in life, etc. And let us face it, having money attracts friends, real or fake ones, lol! In addition, there is the tendency of being looked up to as it is also a gauge of your social status.

Money is the root of crime if one abuses it,while money is also the root of good fortune if one makes good use of it. In fact, if one hasn't a right principle of life ,he will commit a crime whether he has money or not. And one can be happy if he takes things right whether he is poor or rich. Of course if he is good person and has much money,he is a lot happier.

I have a group of really great friends who have been with me through having money and having no money. I have to believe that this group of friends will be with me until the end so I don't need anymore friends, so I would have to say money over more friends.

I am glad to know that you still have few friends left who are real ones. I don't know how you define real ones but probably those who are with you through thick and thin. Money is not the root of all evil. The bible tells us that "the love of money is the root of all evil." Money in itself is not evil or good. It's how we accumulate, how we use, and how we think that makes it good or evil. The bible also tells us that when a person has more money, he will have more friends. He who doesn't have money have less friends. I would like to have more money and more friends. Being productive is better than just being active.

Welcome to myLot. I like money, who doesn't, but love a good friendship. I have many acquaintances but don't consider them close friends. I'd be so lonely without friends so I do need them in my life. Money can't buy a good friendship. To answer your question I would have to say I need both in my life in order to be happy and content.

There are very few people who really understand us. So, I don't think there can be more friends. (Friendly behaving people may be lot, but a real friend who does anything for friendship are very few. There has to be a mutual understanding and it happens with few people only.)
I want to make more money and want to share the joy and money with real friends. I think that's what everyone would do.

hi there
welcome to mylot.
i choose money and less friends. even if i would have only one friend just as long as she/he is real and true to me. how can i enjoy life even if i have a lot of friends but can't even satisfy what i need.
like right now, i have friends, but i am in need of money to get my own place and start on my own. i can't just be around my friends all the time and do sleep overs. and yeah i am still leaving with my parents and i don't like it.

It all depends on the relationship that you have with that friends. I know alot of people, but I have very few friends. I cherish my relationship with those friends and could never ever put a price on that relationship. If I were to ever run into alot of money, I would share it but I would never neglect my friends
