Hi guys! I believe that if we love ourselves we will appreciate our own beauty. Some people may be beautiful in appearance but not i attitude while some are vice versa. It just depends on your perception on yourself and also how people see you. I believe I am beautiful because God created me. People are beautiful in different ways. They say "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and I believe it also applies on how you see yourself.No matter how we look ,how we feel, we must appreciate how God has made us given us features that are unique from everyone else. I guess its a matter of appreciating yourself but not too much because that being proud.Learn to appreciate yourself in a right way.I am beautiful.How about you?

Yes true,God created us in beautiful image.The most important to be appreciated is the attitude inside.Yes we may look so wonderful out ,but inside is so wicked.
We must do the same out and inside..

I believe that I'm also beautiful the way God gives me. Everything I have is beautiful and nothing I would change even if I have the chance. I know I have some weaknesses but I think that makes me even more beautiful. Am I being such a big-headed girl right now? Lol. At least I know that I am a short-tempered girl, but I want to change it. I want to be a better person. :) Well, overall, I thank God for giving me everything I have right now.

Agree. I'm losing my temper easily these days, I don't know why. It's really a hard effort for me to stay cool headed, but I often explode. :D I think I got engaged with the job too much. I need a holidayyyyy...

Yes, I agree. We are all beautiful in our own different ways! And like you said it's just a matter of appreciation. It's just confidence! Some people don't appreciate others' beauty but we can make a change. We should appreciate each and everyone's beauty. Who run the world? Girls!!

a lot of people say i am beautiful but i don't really believe it but still i say thank you when they say it hehehe. i know each one of us has his or her own beauty. my sister told me before that everyday you have to face the mirror and appreciate your beauty. tell yourself that you are beautiful and He will be pleased because ou are appreciating His creation and so he will even more enhance that beauty. maybe i should start doing that again

I do think I am beautiful. It took me a really long time before I was able to see myself as beautiful. For the longest time I simply thought I was plain and average. I thought I was nothing special, but in reality I am beautiful and beyond special. A lot of different things went into helping me see that in myself. But I am beautiful.

This reminds me of that saying that you can't love anyone else until you love yourself. I agree with that whole heartedly! I think appreciation of self is really really important. Some people live their lives with low self esteem - and I can't imagine letting your own perception of self hold you back from great things in life - meeting new people, success, etc! All in all I feel like it's important to appreciate oneself, but at the same time looks aren't everything - if only we could get past that in such a materialistic/narcissistic society we live in - there's the struggle! There is a saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and I think that's true. My husband tells me that I am beautiful so I believe him but sometimes I don't think I am , I guess because I'm getting older and when I look at pictures of myself when I was younger I think that's when I was truly beautiful. Anyway, I guess, we are all beautiful in some way, inside or out.

Hi! Your husband is really sweet. He still tells you your beautiful even if you think your not. As we age beauty may sometimes fade but that only with physical beauty but with innder beauty its does not fade. We continue to shine with it.We are beautiful because we are God's creation.

This reminds me of Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful". It goes like "I am beautiful no matter what they say, words cant bring me down. I am beautiful in every single way, words cant bring me down." Believe in yourself that you are created in the image and likeness of God. It does not have to be physical to be consider beautiful. And it is true it is more like loving yourself first and appreciating yourself. Sometimes we tend to give our all to others or compare ourselves to them that we forget that we too have our own strengths.

I'more than beautiful, I'm wonderfully made. Every 5ft 3in of me :). Granted there are people who are better looking than me, but that doesn't say squat in my eyes. As someone said earlier we need to see ourselves as beautiful, we need to love ourselves before we can even think about loving anybody else.
And yes you're also right, some people can allow their natural beauty to get to their head and then haughtiness and pride steps in, but you can still feel proud about being beautiful so long as it doesn't negatively affect your attitude :)
