how soon can we expect the coming of christ?

the hour or the year we are not told, but signs of his coming, and of the approaching tribulation are in your newspapers everyday. the saviour gave many indications as to the time. he said the days of his coming would be as the days of noah.

We expect it soon but as for how soon, only God knows. All the signs are before us but we have to wait for God. We just have to be ready every day for it will come as a thief.

I personally do not take the Mayan calendar story too seriously. I have learned too much from reading the Bible, that it is the only authentic book from God. I've studied every prophecy and have seen them to be 100% correct. My trust and confidence is with the Bible! All the best!

I do so believe that it's very soon. Though no one can tell but we can feel it. Signs are everywhere.

I agree with you! There are plenty of indications that it shouldn't be too long now. Since Jesus said that he would come as a thief unexpectedly, we will never know exactly when. Still we should live as if he will come soon, which we would want to do anyway.

i think nobody knows when this is going to happen, let us just try to live our lives as meaningfully as possible and not wait for a certain time before we actually get to know God and believe in him when he is about to come, by that time, that would already be too late.

Well, if you go by the Jewish direction, then the first coming, still hasn't happened yet. If you ask Christians, the first coming happened, but the second one hasn't come yet... if you ask the Muslims, then Jesus wasn't the son of God, but rather just a prophet, and then the next coming came along with Mohammed... or, according to the Mormons, Joseph Smith was the next coming, although, more like Moses then Jesus. So, yeah, he has come back, at different times, all depending on which religious book you're looking at. Of course, if you ask me, we're not going to have any kind of "end times" for at least, a few million years... I wouldn't be too worried about it.
