How do you Interpret Your Dreams?

Two months ago I dreamt about me bitten by a huge snake on my forehead. It really scared me to death knowing that I feared snakes terribly. My younger sister, who was sleeping on the adjacent room, heard me sobbingly crying. She tried to wake up me up but it took her a few more minutes of shaking my shoulder before I woke up. Thereafter, she asked me of what I had seen in my dream. It took me awhile to remember what I saw in my dream. I told her that I was bitten by a huge snake. She laughed out loud and told me that it's just a product of my wild imagination. Moreover, she told me to stop watching movies which features snakes so it will not stick in my mind. I went back to sleep but failed to do so because of the fear that I might see that huge snake again if ever I will shut my eyes again. Since, I can't go back to sleep I turned my PC and opened my Facebook account. I posted something on my wall telling about the dream that I had just encountered a few moments ago. There, a friend sent me a message telling me that sooner or later I will discover that someone will going to betray me. I just laughed it off. Few weeks later, I still get haunted with that snake that bit on the forehead. So paranoid and scared, I tried digging in some information in the Internet about dream interpretation. And this What I have found out... According to the Definitive Guide For Snake Dream, that if you are "dreaming of being bitten by a snake" means that something that you've been avoiding because it is intimidating or uncomfortable must be given utmost attention.
