Currently the Nintendo Wii is winning. It is currently the most popular and sold the most (Well other then 360 it's been out for almost 2 years now) Wii sold - 4 million 360 sold- 7-10mil Anyways Wii is CURRENTLY WINNING and i think they are going to win but they might have a super tough competition with Playstation 3 at the end of 2007. You'll see the real gaming war... Who will win? I don't know... But my dough's on Wii

I dont have a clue who will win. All I know is what I like. I personally like the wii over the 360 or the ps3 for 2 reasons. The interaction with the wii is more real than the other 2. And the fact of the retro. I am a die hard nintendo fan I love the classics. Mario brothers and zelda are my favs. Now I aint saying I dont appreciate some of the new games like madden and all the new graphics rock. But i still love the classics. That is why I prefer the will. Ps3 and 360 they have teir qualities as well. But nintendo sure was thinking when they went the interactive way that they did.

For now the Wii is doing very good because the price of the PS3 is just way too high. The PS3 also has overheating issues. Of all the consoles I've used it's the Playstation that has the most bugs starting with the PS2. I enjoy playing the Wii it's very immersive and make part of the game. Although I'd better be careful where I swing that remote. My girlfriend accidentally hit me awhile back when we were playing tennis.

I think that nintendo will come out winning the war here - at least in terms of profits. Xbox and PS3 have been competing to see who can sell the most consoles, and have been adding so many bells and whistles (functions) to their consoles that the cost to produce them is extremely high. I read in the New Yorker that Sony is losing money on each PS3 they sell, but that they thought that anything over $600 would keep too many people from buying them. Apparently they plan to make their money on games and accessories, and maintaining first place in the market. Nintendo, on the other hand, focuses on games and the people who play them. By paying attention to what their core customers want/need, they have earned a very profitable niche - they don't need to be #1 in sales in order to be #1 in profits!
