The amount you earn depends on the quality of your participation. 'Quality' is undefined but we are told to be as descriptive as possible. However, there are many variables and we are not told exactly how MyLot evaluate 'quality' except that (in the Guidelines) we are told to "add something of substance to the conversation" and not to post short responses or merely to thank people for responding.
I suggest that you start by reading the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx and then read the FAQs section on "Earnings": http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx which contains a lot of useful information.
Read through some of the discussions by some of the people who have been here longest (look at the User Ratings in brackets by the name) and choose discussions on which you have something worthwhile to say.

as I even now still learn from you and I am starting my
fifth year here too.You are gentle yet you get the message
across where at times I get impatient with newbies and come off
more gruff than I wish at times., thanks for all your help for

jamesgreenhalgh theres no set comission on anything as we are paid for quality of our posts and thus no two people will receive the same payment as quality may go up or down depending on the actual wanting to do well here or just playing at it. so we have no stock figures just know if you do less posts but make them really great,no oneliners or one word anything as they do not pay for crap b ut for quality writing,you will earn wekk, putting your heart into it.and do not get caught in the agony of thinking you have to post a zillion posts a day to make good money as its not true and y ou will end up sick of it and with little earnings t o show for it.,quality, as I said put your heart into what you post and enjoy making friends have fun and comment on others responses and keep the discussion going,. you participate you will earn. have fun here and welcome to mylot

here you earn to post so not for the responses your discussion takes anyway you can increase your daily earning writing quality posts or contents and probably your earnings will grow as well..
