Well I would not agree there..
I found my right guy on the net about 8 years ago. He lived on the Gold Coast and I on the Sunshine Coast in Qld.
Yes u guess it.. he moved up to meeeeeeeeeeeee
How could he not!!! hehehe
Dont give up........ u just looking in all the wrong places lol.. U need to move lol

Yes, I am always wondering that myself and same with my long distance email friends. All the nice people on here seem to live far away and nobody close to us. With all the people on here, it would seem we could meet someone locally. Strange but very true. :-)

I agreed with you!!! after all, i cant seem to find the right guy in malaysia at all...simply no chemistry..i have to find one nice guy in singapore! most of my ex-bf are from far away as well :0)

Perhaps it is because distance makes it easier for you to be more open, not having a new friend able to drop by because they are so far away can give one a sense of security.
People are more guarded when meeting in person than they are via the net, we worry less that what we perceive as our defects will be noticed by someone we may have an interest in.
Another possible is that it is much harder to make a 'connection' online or by mail...so everyone tries a bit harder to present the best sides of themselves to each other.
