Will you ever get full if you're always eating natural laxatives?

I'm just curious. I am eating more than I have ever done in the past few years. And because of the food I'm eating, I am losing more weight but at the same time helping me recover my health back because of the nutrients I get from them (veggies and fruits; little fish and less meat). All the foods I eat are either rich in fiber, anti-constipation and those that promote bowel movement.
I always eat and get my stomach full...but why is it that it seems like my mouth wants to eat more? Is this a natural thing to happen? I get hungry after 3 to 4 hours after a meal--sometimes it does not take an hour and I'll have to eat a snack (fruits) to get full again. I consume repeatedly until I have to go to the bathroom. And the cycle goes to square one where I get hungry again...

When I was on a low-carb diet I had similar experience. I ate mostly fruits and veggies, a lot of them, but I always got hungry after a few hours. Many of my friends did it... we were chewing apples all day between meals. I guess it's normal that since nothing nothing slows down the digestion, we get hungry easily.
Fruits alone increase my appetite, but they are low in calories, so it doesn't matter if we eat a lot of them. It was a bit annoying for me that I wanted to eat all day, but otherwise never felt better than that time.

Is that so?
You are quite right. I feel great under this diet--like never before in my entire life...just hungry every now and then though. I feel energetic and happy despite that I'm still pale(my body is still in recovery from my late health problem that almost cost me my life) while I was stressed and moody before.
I wonder if this is also the diet of those people who really can eat a lot yet not get fat...I think I need to research that.

You can always ask a doctor about it, but how your body reacts to this diet seems pretty normal, as long as the laxative effect is not worrisome.
I tested a similar diet too with some of my friends. I don't eat meat, so I ate some yogurt and a small amount of nuts instead. The funny thing was that even if I ate big bowls of salads and pounds of fruits, I didn't put on weight.
I'm planning to start this again as it would be very beneficial.
I don't know what those people eat who eat a lot but don't get fat, maybe this is their secret, though I saw many who ate fast food...
I'm sorry to hear that you had health problems, I know it takes a while to get your energy back (I'm working on it too...) I wish you a quick and full recovery

Your body is basically wanting to have more in its system. All the food you have been eating is good. Veggies and fruits are very nutritious, but considering the fact that your body needs more than that, it sends signals to your brain, telling it to eat more even if you're already full. Your body is getting only nutrients from fruits and vegetables and it doesn't contain every nutrient essential to our body. Yes, fruits and veggies do have protein but their protein content is low and it might not be enough for your body. Even if you eat more of them, you'll eventually get hungry again. Loss of weight is again answered by the lack of essential nutrients. Hope this response helps you.

Is that really so?
I get my protein in fish but not meat. As much as possible, I can't eat anything that encourages uric acid and fats into my body. I need to get my body to keep the flow of bowel movement going. I also get my calcium, potassium and phosphorus from seaweeds. I also have food supplements to support whatever it is that I lack too just in case I lack other nutrients...
I'm just losing weight every week. I used to be fat, you see--and I loved that fat that sometimes I missed it especially when I'm in cold places.
