Do you think the Moon landings took place? Or was the whole event faked by the US as a propaganda exercise?
During the 60s, a 'space race' raged between the US and Russia. But there was also another struggle happening - the Cold War. Conquering the Moon would be a powerful political statement. Russia had already put the first person into space - so America was keen to outdo them by landing on the Moon.
Conspiracy theorists say the landings are an elaborate hoax that has fooled the world for over 30 years. But 12 lunar astronauts tell a different story.

Men DEFINITELY did land on the Moon. If, as some say, the lunar landings were all faked just to elevate USA prestige, why do you suppose the Soviets didn't holler and scream that the whole thing was an American scam? And where did all that lunar rock and soil come from? Much of it was made available to universities and science labs around the world, and after all analyses were completed everyone agreed that the material was NOT terrestrial in origin. And just how could something as enormous in scope as a faked lunar landing be kept secret for almost 40 years? The Manhattan Project that developed the atomic bomb was a secret successfully kept---but only for about four years.
Finally, all the "proofs" that it was all just a fake--and that a lot of under-educated people accept as gospel--have been dissected and totally refuted by uncounted numbers of credible indivduals and organizations.

No, I don't think USA has landed on the Moon......
Here are some comments found usefull
1. Crosshairs on some photos appear to be behind objects, rather than in front of them where they should be, as if the photos were altered.
2. The quality of the photographs is implausibly high.
3. There are no stars in any of the photos, and astronauts never report seeing any stars from the capsule windows.
4. The color and angle of shadows and light.
5. Identical backgrounds in photos that are listed as taken miles apart.
6. The number of photographs taken is implausibly high. When the total number of official photographs taken during EVA of all Apollo missions is divided by the total amount of time of all EVAs, one arrives at 1.19 photos per minute. That is one photo per 50 seconds. Discounting time spent on other activities results in one photo per 15 seconds for Apollo 11.
