I don't understand why there is a big issue in eating vegetables. I don't know but for me I would be happy eating vegetables all the time. For me, they are more fun to be eaten that fried foods, meat dishes. They are quite light to eat and fresh. Before I avoid eating cauliflowers, ampalaya bitter gourd, okra but now I learn to love them. When I am in school, one of my classmates notice I always order a vegetable dish for lunch. She said, you know, you are the last one to die among us, because I eat vegetables they say can help you live longer.I am not health conscious and not planning to live very long, but I just love vegetables.

When i was a teenager, i did not like vegetable, I like meat and fish very much. To me at that time, having vegetable seems a punishment to me. I think may be to teenagers, they are still in the time of body growing, so proteins are badly needed for their body. So compared with the vegetable, meat and fish are preferred. Now i take vegetable everyday even every meal, I can take them naturally and love them very much. Vegetable has a good effect on people's health.

Hi there averygirl, Me too i feel the same way as you do, it is kind of odd to me that some people dislike veggies, i have a friend who does not eat veggies and he is already 31 years of age. I guess you can't force someone if they really don't like it until they need it right. Anyway why not live long? and why are you not health conscious? Just asking, no biggie.

My reasons for eating vegetable are because it is good for health. But nowadays we have to be more careful because veggie comes with pesticides. You have to wash it thoroughly.

i think, because some people are not exposed to them since they were small. some parents force their children to eat their vegetables but they themselves don't eat them so it is not a good example. i love eating vegetables. i eat almost all vegetables i know. and i am proud of my 3 year old nephew because he loves them too. he eats all the vegetables there is without any problem and that's because we have been exposing him since he was a baby. unlike my other nephews his age, ugh, all they know to eat is chicken!

i love vegetables and fruits.there is a huge variety in fruits and vegetables and they contain more nutrition. we should eat both vegetables and meat in equal proportions. meat also contain proteins which is required for our body. but many people avoid vegetables which is not good for health.

It depends upon person to person, some people like to eat plenty of vegetarian, no doubt that daily consuming fresh vegetarian keeps our health in healthy position. We all aware that instead of having meat, flesh etc. having vegetarian and good fruits enhances our life span and protect from maximum viruses. But on these earth we find different thoughts of people, somebody finds satisfy by having lots of meat, flesh etc we can not change their habitual. But consuming plenty of green vegetarians and fruits enhances our life longevity and protect from variety of viruses.

Well I am a vegetarian but I must be honest I don't like the taste of many vegetables, with a lot of vegetables I can't eat without sauce or gravy all over it, carrots and peas I prefer to eat raw.

I think this can be understanding. Although vegetables are healthier and I also think it is delicious, but I can't count on everybody thinks the same. It is just like the meat eaters will doubt why people enjoy eating vegetables. Everybody has a different taste. When my son was little, he didn't like eating vegetables, too. It seems that many little children have this problem. I love China

Perhaps the most rational explanation for the fact that many people do not like to eat vegetable is that they are a little too full of "stories"! To be honest I am also one who eats the vegetable, but it certainly does not waste even a meat dish. is this on my own is wrong. If we ate all of us only that vegetable, we will do an act of love towards nature, and certainly we're going to get better health than all the "mess" that daily swallow! Of course I understand that it is not easy, especially when we abiutuati to eat in a certain way. I, however, personally speaking, perhaps with a little effort I could only eat vegetables.

One of my friend also do not like to eat vegetables. I do not know why but everytime when they are dishes with vegetable and meat, he'll pick up all the vegetables and just ate meat. It's unlike me, that I prefer to having vegetables. Maybe it's due to the blood type reason. I had read a book saying A blood people mostly likely to eat vegetable compare with O blood; which they prefer to eat meat.

There are just those people who dislike eating vegetables. I have a classmate of mine who really hate eating those leafy ones. She said she can't take it. In her dish, she would set aside those vegetables and his those meat. As for me, I love eating vegetables. They are good for our body.

It's not vegetables alone that make someone live long... or at least for me they wouldn't be enough. I love vegetables and since I'm vegetarian I eat them a lot. There are some veggies that I don't like too much, like cabbage or cauliflower, but when they are prepared well they can taste good.

When I was a kid I really hate vegetables. I only eat meat and my mother get angry at me because of that. But now, I realized vegetables is delicious too. My parents has been vegetarians since 5 years ago and my mother hardly cook meat at home. So, now I'm semi vegetarian. I want to be a vegetarian too someday.

NO! NOT weird at all! I think you are listening to the tune of your body....and that is a good thing! YOU can make a list of a kazillion things that are BAD for you in FAST/FRIED foods........and a list of GOOD things only in veggies! Your body is telling you what is best for you, and you listen, other's don't, and that is why there are so many unhealthy persons!

All my younger cousin hate vegetable, when I ask them why because they said it bitter, hard to chew and most cases their mom not creative when making dish that's using vegetable. I am like you. I am a huge fans of vegetable and now I try to grew them myself. From the last harvest I notice my harvest taste much better than vegetable from supermarket. Its sweeter and fresh also its organic.

I'm not a vegetarian but I'm just like you. I can't imagine how could someone dislike vegetables! As I write this I feel a desire to eat a big salad but it's too late for this. I'm not a good cook and vegetarian meals are sometimes quite complicated. But the best thing is that you can make a salad with everything you have, add some cheese and this make a whole meal. Anyway, good night for the moment!

I like what you said. When we think of vegetables we think of eating some big salad. They just don't know how delicious are the vegetables!

They think they taste bad, no flavor, too bland, what ever the case. For the people I know who hate veggies, they say they just don't like the taste. Maybe they haven't tried them too many different ways such as with cheese sauce or other seasonings that might help their taste palets. I for one don't like to eat them plain either sometimes, even in salad I have to have salad dressing on it in order for me to like it very much as it is too bland without it. If you love them then just keep eating them and not to worry about what others like, they will find out later in life what they missed out on.

I truly admire and appreciate people like you who love eating vegetables. It's one of the things that I wanted to do. However, there are really lots of times that I can't discipline myself due to a lot of circumstances. Those who eat lots of fruits and vegetables are the people who enjoy life more because they are healthy. Nevertheless, it's just one area of being in good health. Other people doesn't love eating vegetables probably because they are already used to eating meat or other food. Some really doesn't like eating it for the sake of not eating it. Others are forced to eat for health reasons. I hope I'll not be forced to eat vegetables but love it the way you exemplified. Long live avery.

Thanks very much. I like what you said and that is true that people who devour more on fruits and vegetables are healthier and have less diseases. We need to practice eating them and not to make excuse all the time.
