Yes, I watch news twice or thrice everyday. It makes me aware of everything that is going on around me. Without watching news I feel there is something that I am missing. As a child I did not watch news. Later on,I don't remember when,I started taking interest in it and now it has become a part of my daily routine.

No I'm not a new's watcher at all. I don't really like the news its always about what is the most shocking things to get a reaction out of people. They also always just tell you half of what the story is and not the whole thing. If ever watch the news its for the weather. But mostly I just look the weather up online instead of turning the tv to get it.

I don't watch it but read it since I am more on the go. I use my mobile phone to read news. I visit yahoo or other news websites to keep tabs on it. It's great to have a phone with good browser.

I love watching news. I make sure to watch news
whenever I get a chance. Although I am a very
busy mom and wife, thus, stay at home most of the
times, I don't have much time though to devote
watching television. But at night after dinner
I turn the television on and watch the night news.
It's like reviewing everything that happened in
that day.
The first thing I do when I wake up at 5am in the
morning is turn the television on Weather Channel
for the weather news.

i am a regular news watcher and i love to know what is happening around me in this global village. i want to be an updated person and i will never miss watching news at least once a day. i use to watch about politics, sports and some international news. my favorite news channel is bbc. it is really a good habit to watch news because many interview questions are based on current happenings only.

I glad to comment your topic again and again, laken. I often watch news every night. I craved to know news rather than read from internet or newspaper. I more interest in getting know news about sports.
I feel some fun getting news from television. Sometime that watching better than listening. I must say that television is one one of the most important invention in transform information. It is can be considered as unlimited source of information.

thanks for replying , as i value your imput as well.. i have got into a habit of watching tv and being on the interent at the same time, but i only get half of what is on tv, so if im watching days of our lives my soaps lol i will have to stay offline for that as i tryed to do that today online and it did not work i kept just getting half of the show and i had to restart the recording 3 or 4 times and i got very aggrivated.. its not ,like the news that i dont care if i just catch half of it.. i just listen for something that sparks my interest.. unlike days where i need to pay attention or miss out...so tomm i will watch days with out being online..

Since I have to work in the day time. When I am home, I have to take care of our son and meanwhile do some housework. Therefore, actually I don't have more spare time to watch TV. Sometimes I will also watch the news at about 6:30pm for a while. But I must turn it off when it is time for dinner. I like to watch the news to know what happens in the world. Although today most of my information comes online.
I love China

I am not a major news watcher, but I do try and watch a little bit of news each day so that I know what is happening around the world. I don't have a specific channel or source that I turn to for the news, I think they are all bias one way or another. I watch all of them to see their take, usually the truth lies somewhere in between. It is better to hear all points of view and form my own opinions. That's how I handle the news.

No, it depresses me. Murders, Natural disaster, Bad economy, Corruption,Scandal in the government. At least that's how the news goes in my country.
I'm oftentimes kept apprised of what's happening via a radio talk show I listen to everyday, but outside of that I don't bother. I don't even bother to buy newspapers, cause the stories there doesn't differ from the television news feed.

ypur right the news can be very depressing, i never ever listen to a radio at home, my husband plays one when he takes a shower for music, drives me nuts every day, i do listen to the radio in the car .. but i would rather hear the news on tv then my radio, i also love to watch this one news guy when it storms outside he gets so excited and does not hide it.. hhe loves it when bad weather comes that is when he does his best job and he is very good at it.. i love watching him during a storm.. i always watch news when its stroming outside.. just got use to the noise on there.. sometimes i just turn it on and dont even watch it if im onine but i like the noise to keep me compsany a sim home alone until 12 at night..

Yeah, I am like you too. When I was still young I hate my father when he watch news program that Make me have to watch it. He said it's important to know news whether national or international. Because it can increase your knowledge and you gonna be smarter again. That's all my father always said. That's why I always watch news program when I have time..., It's kinda habit for me right now...,

I am not a news watcher most of the time but I watch when I have some spare time. I can hear the news on radio or read newspapers but not on a daily basis. Being up-to-date is good when you are using it for something productive. However, too much news, especially the negative ones will influence the way we think and act in some degree. One millionaire said to me that while I'm broke, I should not watch too much news.
