What is the advantange and disadvantage of science and techonoloy?

Now with the development of science and technology, our lives are changing a lot.
100 years ago, few homes can have lights and telephones, but now, half of the people can have that. 30 years ago, people can not image a life with mobile phone, but now almost every young man can have a cell phone with them.
Science and technology do a lot of favor to our lives,at the same time,they also bring us a lot of problem. Like nuclear power, it can help solving the energy shortage, but its pollution is also great. the chemical can help kill the bacteria but it also do harm to our body through the food web.
30 years ago, people after receiving 14 years education can find a goo job, now with the development of science and technology, they have to spend more time on learning new things. more and more young people even with a PHD can not get a good job now.
What is the advantange and disadvantage of science and techonoloy?

The true advantage is how they are used and how people are going to use them, as well as the disadvantage. I think that technology really makes it much easier to share technology. It is a time save. Of course it can be a time waster as well depending how we use it, but regardless there is just something to be sad about how much time technology can really save a person. Given that the amount of time that some of us seem to lack, it cannot be helped.
Of course there are two sides to every story and technology is no different. For every technological advance that are good, that same technology used for good purposes, can be used for bad purposes, such is committing crime. I've always said that technology is a tool. It can be used in some ways. Like with a hammer, you can use it to build a table or another person can use it to assault someone. Technology is not wicked, but the people using it can be.

To people the pros and cons of science and technology are so obvious. The development of science and technology have been offering people more and more new instruments which make our lives become more and more convenient. Of course it has also been creating many problems which we never met before. But on the whole, whether the development of science and technology is beneficial or not depends on how we take advantage of it. Take nuclear technology for example, the nuclear power plants could provide us with huge low-polluting power. But if we ignore the related safety precautions, they will become time bombs which threaten human beings. In my view, generally speaking, with the development of science and technology, we human beings as a whole live much better than our ancestors.

I believe that you have been very clear indeed science & technology bring advantages and disadvantages at the same time. One thing is certain, we must say thanks to progress, for what we have today. At this point I can ask, it has been extremely worthwhile? The answer to this question is not easy! How could I say no to technology when every day I exploit its potential? The problem of nuclear energy and work are certain aspects to not underestimate. That said I think positive and say, how will the world 100 years from now?

Well I guess the advantages of science and tech are:
* Works become much easier. The best example are emails and cellphones, transportations and internet.
* We explore lot of things.
disadvantage:
*Technology destroys our nature (e.g. Vehicles emitting smog that destroys our ozone layers)

well theres a lot of advantages of course..
- you could be connected to your love ones that easily..
- the medicine and dentistry are so much better than before and thanks for that)
- cars, mobile, ipad, navigation and any other gadgets that make your life so easier are my best friends... sometimes i am even depending my life on it..
- and many more..haha
well dis advantages..
- people become lazy.. they will just sit on their computer (cough.cough,cough)
- and sometimes even though your really smart or talented if you are not rerally good on computers you might not get the job.
- and many more..hihi

Hi friend!! I think you are interested in science... well we now cannot imagine a day without science.. whatever we do there is some science behind it.. because of these tecnology all countries around the world are developing... now a days holograms are being introduced in US.. this is wery good.. is is said that sun will die after 100 billion years... so this science should improve so that we can escape from that happening..
