iam so tired for translating..so i visit Mylot

i think mylot is one of the best alternatives for my brain when so tired..
since 3 days ago, i had another project (out from my main working)..i had translation project..
actually it comes from my friend..because she is my friend, its usually i reduce the fee for the translation per page..a half from the normally price if she bring to another translator...
and i do it because i need another money..
its hard because its related with agricultural and my background is electrical engineering..but life is so cruel..
so thanks for mylot..my project is ended until the next wednesday maybe..
thanks for many vocabulary here..it increase my english too

hi adhyz,
i understand the feeling of being tired from translating work - i have to do that sometimes, too... i speak 3-languages - which can be a blessing AND A CURSE at the same time.. it is a blessing since i do get to earn extra income from it sometimes,
but it is also a curse when the boss expects you to fully understand and expects 'perfect translation' everytime - even when, the subject being translated is totally not my major (i am from business school, but most of the time need to translate engineering documents... 
)

well..
actually my friend offer me that every week , she and her friend maybe need a translation for their task..my friend take post graduate program (S2) and take agriculture and business (Agrobisnis in our term) ..
the price is below the standard..
we can use the facebook for communicating each other..

Yeah I think it would be hard to work on translating projects. I had been thinking about transcribing but work like that takes a lot of time and I'm not sure if I could do it to the employers satisfaction. I'm sure that you are glad that you are done with that and now you can just think freely about things here at mylot.

I have joined Mylot just a couple of days back,but can say without any hesitation that it is extremely helpful in improving your word power. Mylot community is spread across the world and so we learn many new words here. Within these two days I can notice a remarkable improvement in my vocabulary.

Yep, myLot is a great place to relax. I'm actually at work now but there aren't any work to be done so I'm hanging out here. It sucks working on a Sunday, there aren't too many calls, and the email support are doing their best, so no work left for me.
Instead of sleeping, I'll just post here and start earning some extra money.

Good to hear that you enjoyed your stay here in mylot. :) You are right, because of the demand of this world as everything increases, I mean the commodities and daily needs we need to work even it is out of the field of our study as long as we have knowledge about it. I agree that mylot is a good place to stay as people here are not judging our English usage especially like me or us who came from a non-native english speaking countries.

yes, I've noticed it...I received a notice every time you posted here on mylot. I guess we are friend here that's why I've received notice. I am not even 1/4 with your post. hehe. I am trying to be here more often. I've joined here long time ago but I am out and in with the computer so I didn't post much. Usually, I just read some post here and if I want to learn something. I used the mylot bar because I want to read comments from people who experienced the thing I want to know. I love this site. God bless.

I will not visit mylot if i've been doing too much thinking and typing. It stress me out even more. I would rather take a break from the computer, or watch some videos, relax my mind. Mylot is more like my appetizer to start my off my busy schedule as it allows me to settle into working mode really fast with all the thinking on how should i respond, comment to discussions. Mylot is never a desert to me because i don't enjoy mylotting with a stressful mind.

mylot is a place where we can set aside our work problems or anything that causes stress. Ventilation of feeling is one of the most comfortably and ease our life to slow down.
We should take a break when we know we can't handle the situation, when it outburst our brain to focus just for work. Remember just take a deep breath, it really helps to relax your mind and nerves.

now iam in home..i had finished the first task..but i must do well before the client take the task...
its good for me, when the income from that translation task maybe can give the some money for me..

Well I know that it is always a good thing when you can take a break from things that challenge the mind, and be able to come and have fun. I only know english (my mother tongue) fluently, and a little spanish, italian, french and dutch. I would love to be fluent in all of these languages, and maybe one day I will be.
Of course coming here is a good brain exercise as well, but you know with so many native english speakers coming from different backgrounds and dialects, some words may be lost on the non native speakers.

Hi adhyz: I think that's pretty funny. I think it happens almost the same with me and that's because in Mylot we can feel relaxed just by reading people's opinions and sometimes thinking about the things and problems we usually don't have time to discuss and don't forget that you meet different people and cultures so it's very enjoyable to be here.

I have found lots of new vocabulary since I joined this site. This is really cool cos there many member that really good in english, may be native speaker, that can help me indirectly by reading their responses or discussion.
