Hi there guys, I just found another flaw that i think i need to work on. My handwriting. My handwriting is so terrible that my grade3 niece said it was ugly, and her hand writings sucks too, but it was a wake up call since, in reality my writing sucks and i should correct it while im still young. Have you ever heard of anyone changing the way they write because it was budd ugly? What did they do?

My hand writing sucks to actually. Since I started copying and taking a peek on my big brother's hand writing my hand writing evolve bit by bit. Until I came up with a satisfied kind of hand writing. Now I liked my hand writing now than before. So If I were you, Try to look for others hand writing and try to imitate them or make a good touch of your own style using their own. Its like your in MS Word. You mix 2-3 fonts in order to arrive in a cool fonts.

I wil fight my lazy ways so that i can reach my goal and so that i can trust myself to have the strength to write legibly. Tosha for sharing and giving tips my friend.

you try writing letters vertically or slanting then repeatedly write words, then sentences, compare which is better. Do writing always until you'll see there's improvement. Constant practice makes perfect you know.

Thank you for the reminder on practice makes perfect, sometimes I am just to lazy or in a huryy to write stuff that i don't recognize how bad I've written till it is already to late and the ugly hand writing has been dealt, but I'll improve on this with hard work and dedication I will be able to write better than i am right now Thanks.

Try writing a letter. Slowly. Try to maintain the same stroke for uniformity of stroke from beginning to end also adds beauty in a handwriting. Write and write until you are already satisfied and happy of the result.

Hello maharlikah, I guess I just have to slow down on my jotting down right there partner, hehe pretty corny right, anyway y the thing is that even though sometimes when not in a hurry i still get the same results and the worst part of it is that i do try to write better the thing is i only try every once in a while and i tend to write the same way after a while, so i guess I'll just have to practice more and slow down, that would be the best way!

Hello deodavid. I really mis to write by hand. From today I'll start again to write by hand. I believe is important to do it because there in ourselvs character, personality, so on. My handwriting is so ugly but if I write slowly I can write something in very nice ways. I'll try to improve it again. Writing from a keyboard is so impersonal. Just take a look at all the websites in the world. All people have same letters, maybe some fonts are different. Is from the machines, not from the humans. So, for everyone who answer at this topic, I strongly believe is important to have a nice handwriting and try to write again, never mind how old are you. Maybe we can reborn habits like writte old snowmails writen by hand. I am sure that will be lovely to read again some kind of letters. We'll feel again more humans. What do you think? Thank you, Cata.

Hey there Cata, Wow thanks for the things that you've said it makes me wanna try already, and yes i do agree it is impersonal when you write through a keyboard but i guess that is just how the way things are nowadays. Until we can find a way to send letter faster than it is now i guess we are going to stick to keyboards anyway i like keyboards. Thanks for the comment, Take care now.

I don't think it's ever too late to change something like that if you truly want to improve. I had really awful handwriting and there came a time when I wrote more often than I typed. My handwriting improved through practice. You know what they say... Practice makes perfect. Maybe you can practice until you feel good about it and then it doesn't matter what other people think.

Really goes to show that practice makes perfect and that hard work cannot be replaced by just plain trying it on the spot, anyway im not that talented enough to just in a blink of an eye get good in my handwriting right, Hi there sherrybelle, Well i'll put that into work and i'll just have to practice as much as i can. Take care now sherry and thanks for the comment.

My penmanship is nowhere near nice. I have had this problem since elementary and I have known it to be a problem for a long time. I always thought that it would develop in time but I think it has just remained the same or gotten worse. I believe that practice makes perfect but I have been too lazy about it. I have a friend whose penmanship greatly improved, or maybe it was always that good, but the point is, he got that by making it an effort.

Hi there choybel, Yes practice makes perfect and i have the same problem as you, when I was in elementary most of me and our gang of kids try to race who is the fastest to copy the things on the board. Mind you I used to have legible handwriting but after most of my elementary days spent on race writing my strokes became crooked and ill shaped I hope that in time if i practice i can change it and make it better, ask your friend how he did it maybe he can share some tips. Thanks for the comment. Happy Lotting.

the best advice i can give is to take your time when you write and write slow i know there is a big difference in my writing if im in a hurry and write it down fast it always bites me in the butt becasue if i do it in a hurry i cant read it later and i wish i had wrote it better.. just take your time and focus on writing good..

I think that's not a big problem for we seldom write nowadays. We are using computer. Unlike before, everything was handwritten, but now you can always have them typed and printed out. If you would like to improve your handwriting, have a practice. Go back to writing each letter one by one, printing each of them, then do cursive writing. This is what children in preschool are doing. It needs a lot of patience and dedication. You can improve your handwriting, but it doesn't happen in one day.

Back to basics right. Take care now and Happy My-lotting.

Hi deodavid ! I think it is never too late for anything . If you are serious and ardently want to improve it you can . You need confidence and the trust in yourself to develop your writing . Try practicing on ruled paper as kids do and then slowly write on blanks with proper indent and you can do it for sure . I myself have improved it and I am sure you can do it too . All the best

we all have different handwritings and i think that it is not really a big problem if you think your handwriting is bad. as long as you and other people can comprehend your handwriting, you are good to go! if you want, you can practice more often to improve it but im pretty sure you will be able to write slower for the first few times. LOL. also, everything's turning digital nowadays. are you like a designer or artist or something?

Hey there shebacs, Laken a fellow lotter said that to me and I will sure to do it, the reason that I do have this kind of handwriting is that back when I was in elementary me and my gang would race to copy the lessons on the board and by doing that I've learned to copy fast yet earned bad handwriting. Now I'll try to focus more and learning a better and more thorough stroke until it becomes natural to me and write fast yet decent, in time. Thanks for the comments shebacs, happy lotting.

Hey there deodavid, ahhh, i see you have a bad handwriting, the only solution ( or perhaps that's what i think it is ) is to keep writing, the only way to improve your writing skills and mastering the techniques of writing fast and neat! . Secondary option is to find a pen or a pencil that suits your hand grips, i believed so too, inky pens for me, turns my hand writing into a beast. So i end up finding something that comforts my hand, Also, before hand i tell you, Practice writing may results you to having aches at certain parts of your hand, so be sure to get them resting. . . Cheers !

Hi there ewanscarlette, Wow that was the first thing that ive heard that involves the pen, well that is one heck of an advice and yeah it kinda makes sense right, the equipment you use also contributes to how you write and it would really help if you can get a better tool to better your handwriting. Thanks for that i could never have thought of that. Happy lotting my friend.

Hi there Hatley, Well I guess the only way to make things better is to just really try to find a way to right legibly and in print , I don't write in a cursive manner but my handwriting tends to have uneven sizes of letters and most of the lines are crooked my girlfriend says that my handwriting is more of a doctors hand writing. Hard to read! Thanks for the comment Hatley lets try to work on our hand writing so our loved once don't scold us on it LOL.
