I just DONT get it?!

Well, I think I got it. Lol. Look, people are a test for each other. That's the reason why such people exist. :) Don't you realize it that maybe someone thinks you're annoying too sometimes? For example to those arrogant people who think you're not listening to them? :) They are just people who don't know how to behave among other people. They just haven't grown up. So why don't you make them as an example for a self-introspection? If you think that being selfish is not a good attitude then I'm sure you don't want to have such character, right? So let them be what they want to be and focus on being a better person. Just listen to what they say, at least it makes them happy right? And you safe a good deed for yourself. ;)

I think it stems from whence we were babies. When we were infants, we cry to get attention. We cry when we're hungry. We cry when we pooped. So yeah, we have that ao-called 'me first' attitude. But as we grow older, grow mature, learn what is right or wrong, we eventually shed the 'me first' attitude and become humble in our existence in this world. Though some haven't matured yet to shed that attitude and mind set.

Some people have this craving for attention. And there are some people who have cravings for attention behind all reason or logic. I really feel a bit disturbed by some people, who seem to feel the need to be the center of everything but in reality all they turn out to be is a really big embarrassment. Talk about something that is disturbing to an entirely different and potentially out of control level. But then again, that is some people are. Then again, there are people who they surround themselves with that enable this attitude. When they get out of their little social circle, then they are in for a potentially rude awakening. But really in the end, there are just people who feel that the universe revolves around everyone. I get it perfectly. Some people just feel that everything is about them, perhaps their self esteem is at a low level so they need their ego to be fed more.

everyone is different and unique. we can't change that. there may be things we hate about a person but i am sure we have some qualities to that are hated by a lot of people. just don't get bothered because we are all not perfect. we just have to accept that fact and learn from our mistakes. if they are just too much to handle then its a great example not to be like them. just brush it off and move on. God has nothing to do with it.

I guess that we all have a certain degree of selfishness from early childhood,when we become aware of the world around,and we all have the tendency to consider ourselves center of the universe from time to time;some of us manage to change this selfish attitude by education and by communication with others,but there are also many people who don't manage to find the patience to listen to the opinions of others because they don't have enough will to change their way of being;such changes in a person's behavior can't happen overnight,they require quite an effort which some people simply can't do,so eventually they abandon any attempt to change and remain forever with the impression that they are far superior to others and treat them in a selfish manner.I think the only solution to deal with such people is to try to avoid them as much as possible,because trying to change them is completely useless.

First of all I don't understand what god has to do with it. Secondly you talk about a certain group of people who are not listening .. but there is also a group that is always listening to them! You did not notice that? So not everybody loves to be in the centre of all attention.

Or are they? Maybe they are "cooked" that way to learn a lesson, or to give a lesson. Just because you know them now or before and saw the way they acted, doesn't mean they won't learn and change, or can't learn and change. I believe that we are all made in a mold specifically meant for us, to either teach ourselves or teach others we are destined to meet. Sure these people are awful hard to get along with, but we can't judge them, we aren't walking their path.

Some of them are just pathetic losers who wants to compete with other people to prove themselves worth. Just avoid those people because they are into negativity. Always remember a person can't give advise and will never be credible to give advises especially the moral advise if that person didn't bother to listen at you. That is very logical how could you give moral advise if you are not listening?

chill out! everybody is unique..i think it would be boring if everybody in this world just does the right thing..we must acknowledge the presence of other personalities..we aren't perfect..

I hear you, and I have known a few of those and other kinds that are rather hypocritical and such. It gets to be very frustrating. I know someone who will complain about anything and everything, then you feel like you are a good listener for them but when the tables turn you are not allowed to complain about anything. To me that is one of the most selfish things, and it makes me mad. I feel like at least they could support me if they want the support for themself in return. I can't understand their way of thinking, and yes they think they are all that and have tried to chastise ME for not believing in God and such when they act like that?! Crazy.

Those people are jerks who gets all the attention in school but when they get a job they'll probably be immediately fired as all they care about is their opinion and not their bosses given task.
