Which is better for cable Verizon or Comcast?

Which cable is better Verizon or Comcast? I have Comcast but I'm tired paying them they are too expensive. I want to try Verizon. Is Verizon much more expensive then Comcast? I checked if my area has FIOS but they don't. I live in a condo and the satellite might not work, that sucks.
