I just found out facts with regards to Blackberry Rim upgrade. *Upgrade can take up to 2 hours to complete. *While the upgrade is in process, the user CANNOT use their blackberry device. *Blackberry recommends allowing the upgrade to run overnight, or during a time when you can be without access to their device for at least 2 hours. *Upgrade can be done over a 3g network, however, if the upgrade is done over a 3G network, the 20MB download will count against your data usage level. *Upgrade can also be completed over a Wi-fi network *Upgrade can be completed through the BlacBerry Desktop Manager tool with a Pc connected via wired LAN. I don't have a BlackBerry phone but since my mom has one I was forced to make a research regarding RIM upgrades.
