Hi to all my friends!!! Here is an interesting discussion for all who are stressed out frequently!!!!!!!! Friends i know when we are stressed out with something we feel that how good it would be if we would get something like a medicine that could heal us... Some watch for happiness all around and seek things that can make them feel happy... for instance, they look for cheerful music that can make happy, some look for happy people around them - people who can make them happy... But dear friends, depression is depression, and some would ignore it but according to me the best way to remove stress is to find out happiness in oneself, when you learn to do so, you find it easy to overcome stress.. you need to work your own inner magic in yourself and tell yourself to laugh and be happy because what has happened cannot return and i know its very difficult to do it but once you do it, you can overcome any stress that comes your way... this method is useful beacuse many times when you try to seek out things that could make you happy, you still cannot overcome stress... so when you learn that you can make yourself happy, you will always be happy and try your best to be happy... thats all my tip for you to overcome stress... Really friends try it it will help you a lot... w have to find solutions for our problems and that is the solution which i suggest you.....

Hi eshaan, so sorry for my response to one of your discussion few months ago, i think i violated the guidelines that made your discussion deleted too. Anyway, i have learned my lessons already.
Well, i also believe that laughing is a good way of removing stress. I remember, i attended a seminar on how to de-stress and according to the facilitator; we just have to laugh even if there is nothing to laugh about. In fact it is now called in my country, a laugh therapy. Dancing also is one way of de-stressing. At home when i am depressed, i turn the radio on and dance even when i am alone. It feels good, besides, it's an exercise to lose weight. It is enjoyable too.

Hello my friend eshaan Ji,
Well, first of all I wish to apolize with you and all my friends that I got hibernated due to many reasons. Let me see if I could be regular here-after. In my case, I would not allow that situiation itself to come and knock my door. I would accept my reverses as they come and try and improve. Depression only sets in after one does not get what one wants, and one keep finding faults with others, sinking indirectly deep into depression occean. So best is to accept liofe as it ghoes. Rememeber, on ecan never get what one is not due.

I've been feeling really stressed out lately because of the fact that we've been going through a lot of things here at home. And I've been trying a lot of different things to help me to reduce my stress.
The thing that I've been doing the most is taking drives with the radio on because of the fact that music has always been a very important thing for me and it is very healing. There are a lot of songs that I've been taking to heart and they help me a lot.

This advice is true.
But for me 'finding happiness in one self' takes on a different meaning. I've learned that to relieve my stress, I just have to place my happiness-bar low. So, I find relief in little things. A burger for lunch, my favorite hockey team winning, my favorite soccer team finally getting into the league, a hug from my five year old, etc.

Quite very very correct - is to find out happiness in oneself - but many a times when you are stressed you dont realize that happiness is just close to you and all you have to do is find it.
To me, when I am stressed, I move out to the open - we have a terrace here - and enjoy the sun or the rain or whatever nature has to provide... even the eagle which hit me last december thinking I was a rat and I had to get stitches on my head in winters

Hi bhai, thanxxx for your response... You are very very right...its the same as i think... we have to find happiness because it would not come so easily and knock at our doors, we have to perceive everything as gifts from the great god to us and be ready to accept and receive it with fun and laughter... We can find happiness in any silly thing and enjoy it... people in our surroundings may help us to seek happiness but this is not always, sometimes they may leave us lonely so the real happiness we ourselves have to find our..........

Very good advice. One thing I do that helps me through dark times is to imagine - in a lot of detail - the great life I could be living in a couple of years if I keep myself moving now. It's also good to learn a few relaxation techniques. I try to do a bit of Yoga or Tai Chi once a day, because I get the benefit of both exercise and relaxation from them. A bit of target shooting with an air pistol can be relaxing too. Also listening to appropriate mood music - I find Enya's good for relaxation. The important thing is to recognise negative influences in your mind (stress, depression etc) and to do something to counteract them.

Well it's true that although friends and music could help the real solution for stress is finding happiness in yourself.
What I do when I am stressed is I pamper myself. Go to a salon or shop. But for me my most abused stress reliever is eating a palatable meal.

I do agree with you. Depression occurs when you no longer appreciate the good things life has given you and yourself. Happiness can be found anywhere but most of all it can be found in oneself. If you learn to love yourself more and the thing you have and dont have you will least likely to develop depression. Stress is something that you can deal if you chose to not let it affect you. I always say that it is a matter of perspective. If you things negatively then expect for a lot of stressors.But if you are a positive person, you will realize that everyday blessings come our way no matter how bad your day is at the moment. Have faith in yourself, Have faith in God.
