planning to buy phone on ebay

hi mylotters! i just want to ask if you have already experienced buying a gadgets on ebay especially phones what was the result it is still in good condition or not in bad condition?

In my personal opinion it is really not advisable to buy phones or gadgets in eBay. But if you really can't resist te bargain set a meet up to see the item ( instead of having it delivered) or ask for the seller's return policy. Not all sellers with high ratings in eBay are also excellent sellers mind you. I had very bad experience with a high rating seller in eBay when I was new there, and since I was new when I seek help in the discussion boards, I ended up being humiliated by the seller and gang up on by the other sellers ( which are her friends). Lastly, if the price is too low, don't have high expectations :)

Hi, just can't help but comment again and when you said you are in the Philippines :) keep in mind that there is a big possibility that you will pay customs tax for that when your seller send it to PH. They say if u send it thru couriers like DHL or FedEx it goes straight to your shipping address. But is not 100% guarantee becoz I have a friend who bought items in eBay from an international seller, it was sent thru DHL but my friend still has to pick it from the post office and pay the custom fee :)

hi joann! yes i think that your right maybe ill try to just buy here in the Philippines rather than buying in the ebay because of the expensive tax also.

I bought my white iPhone 4 32gb on eBay but it was actually a black iPhone that was replaced with black casing. Other than that, it came exactly according to description, I think you can also file a claim if it isn't.

I bought it used and it been 4 months already and it's still working perfectly even after jailbreaking.

Yes, i bought blackberry 2 yrs ago, it was a used one and it said it was used but good condition. When I received the item, it was as it said on ebay. I was very satisfied. Try to buy item from the US, and refunable, just in case you change your mind to return the items. Good luck.
