Yes, phonecall in the middle of the night is very annoying.. I’m very sensitive with voices while I’m sleeping.. I always put my mobile phone in silent mode, only vibrate when there is phonecall or message..
I hate if there is unknown random number calling me or send me messages only to know my name.. Or the broadcast messages to be the voucher seller.. That’s really annoying..

Yes! yes1. It definitely disturbs sleep. Once you suddenly has to wake up from deep sleep, it is much hard to fall asleep again. Phone calls at odd hours are really troublesome.

i always switch my phones off at night, especially at weekends when i am not working, i like to have a lay in at the weekends, if someone knocks i won't answer unless they are invited, it's only when i wake i will call them back, but mostly it's sales people calling my phones, so i ignore it

This afternoon, I had a nap, and there was a 1 - 800 number appear on my caller ID. Without doubt, it might be some solicitation calls from those sales person. So I simply turn it off and get back to sleep. I just don't want them to disturb me. Plus, I am not interest in their sales pitch, and I don't have money to buy them.

A call can be of any type and I never switch off my mobile as all calls for me are important. Only at the time of meetings or situations where mobile phone cannot be used, I will get it active. At home, in any way, I will keep normal at all times.

Yes, I may be little surprised if I get a call at 2:00 or 3:00 pm at night. If I get up by the righer sound, I will look up first who is the caller and I would definintely attend the call, probably the message would be something shocking. Fortunately, for the last 3-5 years time, I didn't get any call in after 12:00 and before early morning 5:00 am.
Of course, if it is a mock call, he/she will never call again on my mobile and that call would be the last call.
Thank-s

My job is not directly connected to my client. I know a co-worker of mine, he's working in other division in our company. He interfaces with customers abroad particularly from countries opposite our time zone. So during night time is the time they really call a lot. ![](/Content/images/emotes/lol.gif)

I make sure that I will put my cellphone in a silent mode or vibrate mode. That way, I will have a very good sleep. So I don't really get to be disturbed by a phone call. When I wake up, I will see that there are already a lot of phone calls and messages in my phone. That is the time I will respond to those calls and messages. I will just apologize that I was asleep still.

Hello Ekoytyas! I also don't know if somebody calls me even if it is vibrate mode. I just want to set it to vibrate mode so that I might notice it while doing something or sleeping like for example.
Hello Stowyk! Yes, I would be angry if an unknown person would call me in the middle of the night. With the case of apologizing, I will just say it to a person who I know and I think I owe him/her such sorry.

When its time to go to bed which usually in the afternoon when i have a nap for a couple of hours and at night i always switch off my cell phone as it does disturb me.However i can`t switch off my landline unless i take the receiver off the hook which i don`t.Everybody knows my daily schedule therefore they don`t call me during those times.I hardly ever get any calls when i am sleeping and if any calls come i simply ignore them.

I don't get many calls at night. I used to not get a lot of sleep because of work, and would sometimes unplug the phone then, so it didn't disturb me. I slept at very wierd hours, and once I wake up, that's it. My mother is much older now, and a few of my family members have health issues and I am afraid to turn the phone off now and miss an urgent call.

i too don't want to get disturbed by phone calls when i sleep. so i always keeps my mobile on silent mode. during day time too my mobile will be in silent because i don't like the ring tones. but keeping mobile in silent is not good always and some people get annoyed if we don't attend the call.
