There's a big change however. You can no longer purchase directly using CC. Instead, you need to fund your AP account first. I believe that's to avoid chargebacks and all. Hopefully, they'll have withdrawals via credit card reinstated as well.

Finally.... after how much months? :p It surely a great news for frequent AlertPay users. Other than avoiding chargebacks, this new system should sets less fees as well, as CC transactions with Alertpay used to charge high fees, now since we are going to be pay using AlertPay balance then the fees will be highly deducted. Now I wonder when will withdrawals via CC reinstated back..

I can't even remember. I think it was sometime May or June last year when AP users where able to withdraw using credit card.

I think it's just pre registration for an AP debit card and they claim for 48 countries, is the Philippines included? We have to see first what comes out before we can trust them again, I still have a small amount of money frozen inside my AP account, kindly let us all know if you find out something ahead of us.

No, the one I posted is not about the AP debit card although you can opt to pre-register and hope you'll be selected. However, I was talking about the reinstatement of the use of credit cards to fund your AP account. You can try it for yourself. Go to the deposit button and you can now see the option to fund your AP account using credit card. Again, withdrawing money via credit card is still not available. Only option for us in the Philippines is via bank wire.
