I have always been awed by the late First Lady of the United States from 1933 to 1945, Eleanor Roosevelt. She was a tower of unwaivering strength throughout her entire life. She was selfless and champion of children and equal rights, and she was even a U.S. delegate to the UN. She supported her husband always, in good times and bad. Eleanor lived to the ripe old age of eighty years-old (dying when I was only seven years-old).
It is difficult to find a woman like Mr. Roosevelt these days, she really understood the meaning of commitment. I would love to be as dedicated as she; as prolific as she; as profound as she; as pure-of-heart as she; as genuinely loving as she; and as strong as she managed to be during some of the worse times her country had ever seen...what a truly magnificent woman. Eleanor Roosevelt will forever remain one of the top ladies that I admire from history...how can one not admire her in all her splendor?
