In one of the forwarded messages I received goes something like this, "When you're stressed you must eat chocolates, cakes and other sweets as when you read back the word stressed it becomes desserts". Funny but quite true as when we eat something sweet somehow we feel relieved from negative feelings we have. What do you think friends?

Chocolates trigger the brain to release feel good chemicals called endorphins. However, chocolates should be eaten in moderation or else you will increase your risk of developing tooth decay:)The key there is to give in only a little:)

Many say so, and I think it's true too because sweets is energy booster, so when you eat or drink sugary drinks it gives you energy.
I have learned that when we eat or drink sweets, the energy it provides enable the brain to control impulses and prevent people from being stress. People who drink a sugary drink were less likely to snap than others that don't take sweets.

This is true, whenever i have a frappuccino (that's kinda sweet), it is effective in relieving me from stress! Chocolates and crepes are also great to eat when you're really stressed out.

Hi friend, i think it is a good idea to take sweets while we are stressed, we forget about the worries due to the pleasant taste of the sweet and it will give a temporary relaxation to us

OH YES.
I love sweets and sometimes I really eat sweets when I am stressed.
But take it in moderation. It won't do your body any good when you eat too much of it.

I do not think eating sweets relieves the stress. It is just taking our attention from the thing we are thinking. The same thing happens if we listen to good music or play with a small child or watch cartoons. I think when our mind change the thoughts we get relaxed. I think there are lots of people who eat more when they are stressed or depressed.

You might think that sweets make you feel better because they make you think about your childhood which might have been one of the most carefree times of your entire life. However, the chemicals in sweets are actually more likely to make you stressed than removing stress from your life. Doing something like regular exercise is a much better thing to do if you want to make yourself feel less stressed in your daily life. Making these kind of changes are much better in the long term than eating sweets is in the long term.

yes of course i think its really, right, i like sweets and when im in streesful situation i eat more sweet actually i like to eat only sweet when im angry because it increase the hormone which makes you happy, thats why your body feels hungry for sugar and sweets like chocolates it will work to increase the hormone that make you happy and so on, thats why we eat more sweets when we are stressful or angry, thats nice idea, though some says sweets are not good for health, i see chocolate is must

Laughing a lot and also eating chocolates are both good for you. Of course don't eat chocolates every day, but spoil yourself. You are the most important person. If you can't have a little treat and some fun what is the use? Worrying about things won't fix it. Doing something active and keeping busy and listening to music will make you feel better. Have a great weekend wherever you are!!

Do you now how a kid reacts when you give him lots of sugar? The same feeling they get is what sugar does us when we are stressed out. Well, that’s my opinion. Maybe I am wrong. http://www.bakzap.com/1695/
