I really think that this is a kind of wasting time

Hey, I do that sometimes. :) For me, its like a stress-reliever. There's just something about shopping and window-shopping that alleviates the stress from work. But that's just me.

Im female and do not go shopping unless im planning to buy something. Sometime i do not find what i like in one store and then need to go to another.

Like you, I will not go unless I really want to buy something. I think it is unfair to try on a bunch of clothes if you do not intend to buy anything, but people do it a lot. My daughter will not do it either.

Window shopping is fun for some girls. It is important for some to know what the trends are and how can they know unless they go window shopping? Everybody's different.

Hello youless! Well, you don't get it cause you are a man! girls, ladies or women can really feel happy when they are in a department store trying on clothes and window-shopping. It makes our day happy and we try clothes to see what difference does it make if we have this type of clothes on... Having the time for that can be easy when you are not that busy. Or even if you are, if you really need something for such occasion, of course you have to pick something to will make you look good.

I dont think its a waste of time at all. Its kinda like an outing for people that like to do this. I will go and "window" shop just to get in my mind a wishlist. Its a fun way to spend some free time. I often will browse the book stores. Get a coffee. Sit in an area of relaxation and use my computer to do some work. it helps to get it into your mind something that you would like to have. It sets it into motion so you can maybe send it out into the universe your desire to have it.

Well,i think they want to buy those things, but since we don't have enough money to buy all of the items we like, therefore, just putting them on and looking into the mirror how we are looking like is not a bad thing. :) I think it is a waste of time. But women like this very much. In fact, they may throw their clothes away after they buy them. But if they didn't buy them, they will always have them in their mind. i think it is better to spend our time to do more meaning things. Going shopping without buying is really a big waste of time.

HI youless I think thats a younger woman thing as I got so I did not go shopping just to try on things but only if I really needed a top or skirt or dress. I used to do that too as a young woman then not buy anything after all.But there's one thing I still like to do but its hard for me now and that is window shopping. My husband and I used to do it and you would be surprised at how many times we found something we needed on sale so when we got the funds we knew right where to go for the best prices.

I don't usually try on clothes if I don't intend to buy anything. I like shopping, but I if I know that I don't have any money to spend I don't like to look at the clothes, I just get sad or disappointed if I find some really nice clothes that I can't afford It is much more fun to look at clothes when I know that I have some money to spend. At moment I don't visit the department stores very often, because I am trying to save money.

Sometimes it's fun to browse. But typically when I go shopping, it's because I WANT to buy something. If I don't have money to spend, I generally won't even go to a store because it's depressing not having money and looking at all the nice things you could have bought. . But like I said, I 99% of the time will buy at least one thing every time I go shopping, unless I really really can't find anything!

Maybe they think that's the best way for them to avoid themselves to fall behind the times and to kill time.There they can know well which things are in fasion and show off their beauty as well as tasting their favorite between-meals.

Hi! By and large I do agree with you as I also like going somewhere with an actual purpose. Usually I look for the best sales and variety--not just for the sake of going.

department store visit provide information about new products and current pricing therefore its always good to go in the department store once in a month.

Hello youless, I think window shopping is something girls enjoyed the most. They do not consider it as a waste of time. It is apart of enjoyment in their leisure time. But in case of married ladies they really don’t have time to do this. For me, I go for a shopping when I need something. I can’t even think about a window shopping due to lack of time. I have to take care of my kids, and then work etc. In fact, I feel hard to find time for shopping then how can I think about a windows shopping.

You say this probably as you do not know the fun and joy one gets in window shopping. I can say this as i love window shopping and still do when i get time. It is not necessary that we buy something each time we go to a store. On the other hand looking at the new fashions and clothes gives immense happiness to the person. Haha, I have the same view as you. And I guess that is also the view of most men. In my view, those girls treat window shopping as a way of killing time, which gives them a lot of fun. When they stare at a brand hat or shoes, they may imagine the pictures they wear these stuffs, which to a large extent satisfy their vanity.

Some people do in fact have their hobbies and some of them might seem a bit odd. I have always seen making a trip out with a purpose of doing anything and most likely buying anything to be a waste of time and money. Especially in this day and age. If I wanted to look at certain products, the Internet is right in front of my face. I can look up anything, research them, just indulge them, and if I feel so inclined, I can purchase them. Of course, different strokes for different folks as I always kind of say. One person's hobby is just another person's horrific waste of time, why are you doing that? Then again, I'm sure people do think that a lot of things that I end up doing are wastes of time as well. Such is the nature of life. Not everyone can have a common ground on anything, where they think that something is an enjoyable time where people can have meaning across the board.

The reson why those who like to go shopping is that it is a kind of way of life for them.Sometime they don't buy things actually , they just kill the time by looking,trying on. But there is an advantage that sometimes they can come across something very cheap.
