Do you agree that shopping can help release stress? Some women said that when they go out and shop till they drop because it helps them forget all their problems. Spending money on anything helps them forget that they have something going thru. Life is easy when you are out in a mall for a day and buy all the stuffs you think you need and afterwards realizing why did you bought those things? Funny but it's true. :)

I'm not a big shopper. I love spending time on my computer instead of being out shopping and if I'm stressed I like to take a nice bubble bath.
I only shop when I really need something.

Good for you! :D many social websites can keep you busy not thinking of going out and spend money until you realize that day has pass by. :)

That's very true my friend. Though, make sure that you have the cash to pay for all your shopping. Because if you shop through your credit card, you will be further stressed when the bill arrives.

I like to go window shopping, only see things but don't buy them. I think its costly to buy each and every thing we see, to relieve stress we can do anything like exercising, swimming, bicycling to release good hormones, a happy one like me. I opposed shopping!

For me, shopping can somehow help release stress because through shopping, you can divert your attention to something. Somehow, you will forget your problems but the disadvantage of it is that you buy those things that are not necessary. And it is just a waste of money. After you shopped, you will think if what is the purpose of what you bought.

I try not to buy anything that I don´t really need, specially since I became a widow and my finances are more meager. But still I fid myself buying a little something for me or for a loved one when I´m stressed or a bit depressed. It´s like eating a sweet

I'm a women and I don't go shopping when I'm stressed I'm not going to wast my families money that we need to raise and take care of two small children over the fact I had a stressful day. I go out on a walk or eat chocolate its cheaper and it saves money and I"m not spending my husband hard earn money that he sat all day earning to take care of his girls. Its just pointless to spend your money on things you don't need and put yourself in to debt because your stressing out that is an excuse to spend money when you have money.

That is very very very true! Because if I am in great stress where in I really can not do anything to make myself calm and at peace I do alot of shopping, I am not saying being expensive it is either I go surplus, bargain centers, bazaars and stuff specially if I don't have enough to buy or shop in the mall. But window shopping also helps alot specially if I am fitting in the shoes that I am eyeing on the shelfs hahahaha well I don't know it really relief my stress because by the time I went home after my "shopping" or "window shopping" I am at peace and very much ready to face the challenges of everyday life! Go Shopping Women!

I do agree that shopping is a stress reliever but shop til you drop? It seems like you're just going to add more stress to your life, especially when the credit card bills come. A better way perhaps would be shopping wisely. It would be hitting two birds with one stone. You get to release all that stress that's pent up in you and at the same time, you are able to get a great bargain!

I think shopping can help release stress too. When I am not in good mood I go shopping. After shopping I feel better even though I buy something I do not need.
