My son learns to play the piano once a week. Most of the time my husband went to the piano class with him. And they will enter to a piano room and the teacher will teaches my son how to play the piano. My husband sits behind them. Since my husband is very interested in playing the piano. So he takes the notes and meanwhile he learns from it. Isn't it great that we pay for one charge but actually two persons learn to play the piano?:) Although my husband doesn't play the piano as well as the musician. But as a common person, he already does it well. So I can tell you it will never be late to learn how to play the piano. As long as you are inerested in it, you can still make a progress. I love China

You're only 23? Of course it's not too late! The way you put it, I thought you were maybe 65 or so... It's never to late to learn to do something you enjoy. Playing a piano will enrich your life. Do it.

When it comes to learning there is no such thing as age as long as you have the passion and determination to learn. I do remember a movie based on true story The first grader. The story is about an 84 yr old Kenyan who turn up in a school offering free education for all. Some reject him because he is too old, we would not make use of the education given to him in the future but he persevere and eventually learn to read and write. Kimani Maruge wants to read because he received a letter form the president and he did not know what it is. He holds the oldest person to start in primary school in Guinness world records. You should watch it if you have not seen the movie. It will inspire you.

It gets harder to learn as you age but still nothing is impossible to learn unless it's too complex for you to understand. Playing an instrument actually increases your IQ by the way.
