I want to know if my baby is a boy or girl!!!

How early in your pregnancy did you find out the gender of your baby? My first, we found out at 17 weeks and 5 days. The second, at 18 weeks 3 days. This time, they are making me wait until week 21. :( Are there other ways to find out accurately before then??

Hi ztijaejones, Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to myLot! If memory serves me correctly I think I found out the gender of both my babies at my 16 week scan. I'm not familiar with any methods to find out the gender of a baby while awaiting an ultrasound scan other than looking up 'old wives tales' dependent upon pregnancy 'symptoms' etc. or DNA based gender baby testing which I just found out about now! It's available in Ireland, not sure about where you are though. But I'd guess that if it's available here it'd be available anywhere!!
