Yes, it is the 1st day of spring & I feel fine. I not only slept better than the last 2 nights but I caught up on all my sleep lost since Sat. night. I had finished the book I read for my book club the night before & went to bed early enough so I would be ready the next morning to go to the book club to discuss the book. We had a fine conversation about the book - Mario Puzo's "The Fortunate Pilgrim", one of his 1st books before writing "The Godfather". We talked long about it. Then I went home, had a fish sandwich with lemonade because it was so warm outside. I put up the Easter decorations like I've done every year on March 20 to represent spring & hope. It was hot out in the sun doing that. Then after an hour & a half I went to bring my book back @ the library & got a video my mother wanted "Joy of Stress" & a book on St. Paul "What Paul Meant" by Garry Willis. And went home & had a fish dinner with my Mom. It was still warm outside & inside even with the windows open. What an ideal day for the 1st day of spring!

I do think that we've skipped right over Spring and gone into the early part of summer with some of the weather here. Then again, we skipped over a lot of winter, so really who really knows at this point. Still I think that I've been able to open up my windows a bit more earlier than normal and start airing out the house, which is a good thing, I can assure you. A really good thing that is going to allow me to be good.
I do hope that the weather does remain nice. If I've know anything about the weather, it really does turn around and it might be nice and warm now, but it could be a bit cold and frigid once again by the end of the week. I do think that Spring does signify a chance for new opportunities that are out there, but it did come a bit earlier than the official date. Not complaining, just hopefully making an observation. Hopefully the weather doesn't get too crazy.

It was a warm day but a stormy night. There are storms rolling through now and I wish they would just stop. It is nice to have a bit of storms and good to sleep by, but this is where I wish they'd have come in later so that I could sleep by them. I love the spring and all the beautiful flowers and the weather that comes along with it. Not to mention the yummy food to be had.
