Will you change your shoes when you are driving?

It may be inconvenient. But if you wear slippers or high heels, then it is better for you to change sneakers to drive. As the slippers and high heels will lead to an accident when you are driving. What will you do?

I drive with flip flops no accidents yet, I've had and accident wearing sneakers one time. I don't wear heels so I've never drove in them before but I probably won't it I would either drive with no shoes or flip flops. If they are nice flat shoes it'll work just fine.

I haven't tried driving a car by wearing a pair of flat shoes. But, definitely i will never dare to drive a car by wearing a pair of high heel shoes. It is just to dangerous and risky.

There is no laws to what you can wear while driving till that day. I will wear what ever shoes I feel like wearing that day. In the summer time I'm not wearing sneakers a espeically being pregnant in the summer that is over kill on tight feet. People drive with them all of the time and nothing happens to them. If you wear the correct shoes and right size they won't slip off or slid or get stuck. Heels I wouldn't drive in unless they were flat dress shoes. I don't wear heels I'm stay at home I don't need them.

I can drive wearing a flip-flop, but can't drive with high heels shoes. I tried driving with my high heels but it was kinda hard and dangerous. So every time I have to wear a high heel, I bring a flip-flop with me. :-)

No, flip-flop is not suitable either if you are not used on wearing it. But for me, I don't have a problem with it when I am driving coz I am used to it. But, the best driving shoes are sneakers and any close flat shoes.

If I am wearing shoes I am not used to wearing and they feel uncomfortable when I am driving then I will take them off and wear something else when I drive. I am more apt to have a accident if I am wearing something that feels weird.

I drove with flip tops but just a short drive. I also had an experience driving in my barefoot *LOL... well, just an isolated case *wink! I don't experience a long driving, as my husband is in charge for the long driving. He usually wear his driving shoes. But in case he's wearing a formal dress and partnered with leather shoes, that he says very uncomfortable in driving, he just bring his driving shoes in the car, and just change there. I remember my husband drove with his socks alone beacause his feet was numb driving for hours, stucked in slow moving traffic *LOL In case I will drive long, I prefer a light closed shoes. Our car is a manual transmission and it's very tiring to drive with uncomfortable shoes on... not to add the unpredictable traffic along...

It's our christmas party and I'm wearing a heels that I'm not comfortable too wearing while driving. I opted to take it off and do it in barefoot *LOL Yes it should not be happened again, promise! Thanks stowyk!

Driving with or with out shoes can cause problems it makes no difference to how well some does behind the while. Even a flat shoe can be a deadly one.

I always drive with flip-flops, I don't like to wear shoes or sneakers. Maybe because I have always driven without sneakers that I am so used to it but I don't think it makes a big difference, as long as it is flat, I think you're good. I haven't driven with high heels because that just feels uncomfortable and it would be dangerous too.

It seems many people like to wear flip-flops to drive. But I am not sure whether it is suitable.

Most of the time I wear sneakers anyway. I had heard a long time ago that you should always have good footwear so that if you had to walk, like if your car had a problem, you would be able to do so comfortably. You are right, high heels can get in the way of using the pedals on the car, and slippers can slide off the pedals. Like I said, I am almost always in sneakers.

I won't WHILST I am driving, but yes I wear tennis shoes as I've worn flip flops and the like and my foot slipped much easier, and it is dangerous. So tennis shoes it is, though some can drive without any shoes at all.

Youless, whenever i want to drive, i always prefer to wear shoes. Driving wearing shoes is much better since it won't slip. I seldom want to wear slipper to drive since it is not easy to press the oil and brake pedal using it. Sometimes, i need to bring along a pair of shoes, if i am wearing sandals.

Its not a wise thing to do. Its absolutely important that we must be on the job cent percent while driving. To meddle with our accessories in the course of driving is not recommended.Just last week a women who took driving c\very casually ran over a few laborers sleeping on the pavement killing one. Now this is negligence

Well i don't usually change my shoes while driving but I have changed them once or twice before. It is because the shoes were too high and they were hurting my feet bad and I thought it might be dangerous.
